Jordan VIII lows against Houston

Tonight against Dallas it looks like Under Armour Micro G Lite however I am not 100% positive those are the right model. Looks like it to me though. I am not really familiar with all of Under Armour's kicks yet.

EDIT: Yep they are Micro G Lite's as confirmed by Sole Collector now.

Looks like Gilbert learned his "jump" shot from Andre Miller.

Photo must be playing tricks on you. He's well off the ground there.

I think I had a pair of Jordan VIII lows, did they come in gray and red with a bit of white ? Can't remember which pair I had in 7th grade, they had a similar strap the VIII have.

Maybe it is, I don't know.

Nevertheless, he does have a knack for the barely-leaving-the-ground patented Andre Miller jump shot in games.

Good to see Gilbert focused on what's important.

I mean, this dude is constantly doing something to get attention. And why is his dumb butt playing in Dolce and Gabbanas, when he has serious knee issues? Why take a chance playing a professional basketball game in casual sneakers when you already have injury issues to begin with?

Ok I'm confused. Is he wearing expensive, never-before-worn collector shoes (like those Penny's from the first page) for one game and then dumping them for the next expensive old school pair of never-before-worn shoes?

Or are they re-issues?

I recognize a lot of these shoes from growing up in the '90s. I'm just wondering where he is getting them and if he's 'ruining' never-before-worn pairs that collectors pay good money for...

I love all those shoes, I agree 90s shoes were the best. Its funny because alot of those shoes I wore playing basketball in high school.

All these old styles Gil has worn are shoes that have been "retroed" or re-issued.

I think it's cool that he's doing this, but I don't think it's best for his performance on the court. By and large, old styles just don't perform as well as the new ones for basketball. I own a pair or the Jordan 6's and I can personally account for their lack of performance.

Thanks. I assumed they were, but with Gilbert you never know for sure.

The only shoes I would like to see him wear are the ones in "Like Mike". Yes, that crap movie.

Maybe like Bow Wow it'll turn him into a good player.

Gilbert Arenas has now made a website about his shoes. It's in the format of a calendar and has pictures of the shoes he wears each games. This new site is being publicized through gilbertarenas.com as well.

Shoe website: http://sneakerchamp.gilbertarenas.com

and it appears that Gilbert is back on Twitter under this name as well
