I hope Liggins get some playing time tonight, want to see how he does in a real game. Maybe he's that athletic wing defender that we don't have

This is pre-season. They will try different lineups. When the season starts, Davis will be starting because Ryno is better served as a backup to both Davis and Dwight.

Not saying this about this particular instance but i just hate in general when players bitch about minutes....of course unless it's reasonable...but in this case......

I understand when a player is in a contract year or on a bad team where they feel they can make a difference. But, when it comes to competing for the playoffs or a Ship, all players should be a part of the team and not worry about it.

It is a tough call between starting Baby vs Anderson. Anderson is the better producer, but Baby compliments our core guys in ways that Anderson doesn't. The key to me is JRich; if he can be our #2 option on offense then having Baby in there to set screens, make hustle plays, and play team defense is superior to Anderson taking shots away from JRich. However, if JRich is going to continue to be an afterthought on offense like he was last year than Anderson starting is a must, we'll need his offense desperately.

Edit: The Meer/JRich/QRich/Ryno/D12 unit posted a differential of 25.49 in limited court time last season. This could be a good unit and help Orlando get off to a great start (It was very good against Atlanta in limited action, too).

If it's baby vs Anderson i would say it's a flip of a coin to be honest each brings good things to the table....Although i'd give Anderson a slight edge AT THIS POINT because he knows the system and might be a better fit for stan's system 4 out 1 in......Me personally i like Glen but i think Ryan should be the starter at least that's what my brain is telling me...My heart says Glen....But if Glen's feeling a little disgruntled already the he needs to relax a little because being on Boston doesn't give you entitlement to a damn thing here under Van Gundy...You have to earn his loyalty and trust i think that has been proven at this point

I personally liked the scoring I saw off the bench from JJ and Ryno in the last game. Big Baby should start.

Also, if Jameer is main ball handler, id start Clark and have Hedo come off bench with JJ and Ryan and be the distributor, NO DUDU!

In no way do I think Ryan Anderson is a starter in this league. Baby should start. At this point I think Stan is just trying things out. I expect Anderson to get up 20-25 shots tonight. I can't wait to see him launch a 3 right over Dwight's head, from 2 feet beyond the line, with a guy right on him, 8 seconds into the shot clock, the moment he touches the ball. The white Brian Cook, only with better rebounding. Sorry, but he frustrates the hell out of me. He's the poster boy for settling, and it's when those shots are bricking that teams usually start to demolish us.

Hedo on LeBron for short stretches wouldn't kill us. That's what we're going to see in the reg. season anyways. I actually hope that Earl would be the 1st player off the bench against the Heat and the Thunder, to cover LeBron and Durant.
