I liked Wafer when he was on the Lakers....he can get to the basket, besides Jameer no one else can do it.

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

That's essentially what a lot of us want to know... can Von Wafer do that consistently and produce for us? .. Why not give him more minutes... let's try it out

I'm starting to lean towards this. It's very frustrating.

Yeah, now is the perfect time to try some things out, the schedule is pretty easy for the next 5-6 games so why not experiment a little bit to try and get better... what's the worst that could happen... and to the people that continue to say he only played well in garbage time, how is it considered garbage time with 9 minutes left and we're still in striking distance AND both teams starters are still in the game?

Even if it's not consistent, as a threat off the bench, he's better than Dudu. He has that explosive first step, my guess is the book on him is you back off and let him shoot jump shots. He deserves a chance but STAN is so stubborn, he's the reason Trevor Ariza is no longer here.

Well said, all of it +1

Hopefully we'll see more Hughes and Wafer, and less Duhon

Wafer is the only player right now that will drive to the basket on a consistent basis. So that means he needs to play more but we have alot of players ahead of him that play SG. I really hope Stan can find a way for him to play. We are in desperation for some penetration lol. We really need that explosiveness he brings. (No homo).

Youth movement. I'm all for it. Von is fearless attacking the rim. Love what I've seen so far.

He attacks the rim athletically and knows how to finish. Consider me a fan.
