I was thinking about that as well.
The wolves became my second favorite team this year and I think the main thing thats keeping them from taking it to the next level is a center like mcgee/jordan who would protect the paint so if I was dwight that would be the perfect place for me.

A great pass first point guard in rubio, an all star stretch 4 who compliments dwight's game perfectly and a bunch of shooters in the wing for when dwight gets doubled.

something like beasly/derrick williams/pekovic/ridnour/darko for dwight/duhon/davis could probably work for both teams and still keep both competitive but off course dwight wants a big market so that would never happen.

I'm hoping a great game from Rubio with a ton of lobs will help Dwight change his mind.

if dwight walked to minny in the offseason that team would be a perfect fit for him. love spreads the floor and helps with the rebounding and rubio finds him in the right spots. beasley would be the best wing players hes ever played with ahnd barea is good at getting into the lane.

why are the min fans here anyway? If i wanted to discuss this game with them, i would have posted on the general board.

my statement was indeed a positive one, they will understand it better probably next season. by that time, i am also hoping they will understand the concept. no one can deny Rubio is a talented player who is capable elevating a team and helping them win more games, which was not my point.

P.s. i am pretty sure i have watched Rubio play more than most of them.

Richardson vs Ridnour is a huge mismatch in your favor. We just have no true SGs that Adelman trusts right now, so Ridnour and Barea get a lot of time there.

As for the "can fatass KLove cover stretch 4s" comment, I hope for your sake that Big Baby plays more 5 than 4, because Love will take him outside all day.

I'm very excited to see the Howard vs. Pekovic matchup. Pekovic has played well against some of the better Cs in the league, but Dwight is an entirely different animal.

Speaking of Howard, I hope that this doesn't come off sounding trollish, but if Dwight was smart he'd realize that Minnesota would be one of the better situations to end up in. Yeah, yeah.... I messed up on the Love being fat thing. I haven't seen him since last year. But just because your a stretch 4 doesn't mean you can cover them. Last year and the year before he was a pretty bad defender. But then again... haven't seen him. I'll hope Anderson can keep up with him. And Howard going to Minnesota? um...yeaaaah

TImberwolves are an improved team. Rubio probably won't have a big scoring night (that's an area he need to improve on) but Love could be a big problem for Anderson. Interesting how quickly the Wolves became an exciting team, but I'm hoping we still pull this off.

Hope Richardson can extend the Magic a little too, he was awesome last Saturday.

I either missed this or it wasn't advertised much... I constantly see people talking about Hedo needing to be benched a game or two to get his legs back. Well, apparently Stan suggested to Turk that he should take a night off. Turk refused.

Magic SF Hedo Turkoglu said he never thought about taking up Van Gundy on his offer: Taking Saturday night off against the Bucks in Milwaukee.

Turk and Van Gundy are glad he didn't.

"No, I'm good," said Turkoglu, after scoring 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting against the Bucks, his biggest output since Feb. 3 when he had 19 points against Cleveland.

"I told Stan, 'I don't need a night off.' I was feeling great. Sometimes I'm involved more, sometimes I'm involved less."

Turkoglu was slumping the previous four games heading into Milwaukee, looking fatigued and scoring just 22 points with 18 turnovers. Which is why Van Gundy asked him if he needed a rest.

"I told Stan I want to do things I'm good at. We have so many guys that Stan's trying to get involved. It's the situation," Turkoglu said. "He got some plays for me. But we have a lot of good players. I was feeling it. I was feeling good.

"I'm just going to try to be aggressive all the time."

Van Gundy said he told Turkoglu in his meeting with him before the game that "he was thinking too much and not playing on instinct."

Turk said he and the Magic are inconsistent in their intensity from game to game, rising or falling to the level of competition at times.

I will probably miss this game too because of the Artist showcase we are doing tonight. Will be my 3rd in a row. But, my vacation was worth it.

Anyways, I have faith the Magic should prevail. But, Adelman has them Wolves playing good ball. Wish I could watch Rubio and Love against this team. Goo Magic!

I'm expecting us to be frustrated by our inability to keep opponents off the glass, again.

No way we take this one, the wolves will dominate us on the boards and rubio will find their shooter open everytime for wide open corner threes.

J rich will cool off, davis will go 0-10 and only dwight will score well and shoot over 75% from the line.

And to allow uncontested 3s ... by uncontested I mean our defender flying out from FT area of the paint with arms raised/flailing.

Same here. The Wolves are certainly a fun team to watch. A lot of offensively gifted athletes that get up and down the court.

I will very much enjoy seeing the Ryan/Love match-up. They have very similar abilities other than Love having a much better/more frequently used post game.
I will keep an eye on those two battling under the glass to get those rebounds though.

I feel like this is the type of game that Ryan tries REALLY hard to stop Love getting as many rebounds as he does, Ryan will succeed, outplay him (or at least match his production) and then get lots of praise from SVG in the interviews.
Just a hunch :P

I'm not saying i don't respect our opponent i do.....i'm just wishing for a blowout so we can see some of the guys that doesn't play.....But in reality we might have a close game....I like that dude Nikola Pekovic(i think) he is a scrappy player and tough.....Love vs Diet Love will be a good match-up....Tonight might be one of the good ones
