Who?

BPA = "Best Player Available."

The point is that drafting for a roster rotation is ALWAYS a terrible idea. A GM must ALWAYS draft the best player.

Marquis Teague is unlikely to be BPA. He looks to be a d-leaguer for a couple years before he catches on as a deep-bench guy. Tony Wroten has more of an NBA body and a game that fits a middle-bench rotation. NBADRAFT.net has Orlando slotted to take Andrew Nicholson, and GM Smith does like PFs in the draft. So ...

I see Orlando trading up in this draft. The Magic first plus a guy like Duhon or Richardson-1 should help Orlando get to something like a #15 pick. If that is enough for Kendall Marshall, that would be a good trade for GM Smith. Orlando needs a young PG to develop as a future starter.

I really like Marshall too, but when was the last time you saw the Magic trade up? Teague will be available around the Magic's pick.

I'd move JJ for a top 15 pick in a second...

I'm not a fan of Wroten for this team, his sub 60% FTs and high turnovers 3.8 scare me.

The kid from Kentucky everyone thinks needs another year playing in NCAA. If you take a 1st or 2nd year PG, they must be super athletic like Irving, Wall, etc. I do like the kid from North Carolina though.

Lets get a nice athletic young player to rot at the end of the bench.

correct we have our 2nd round pick this year, but we traded our 2013 and 2014 picks to cleveland

After the Cleveland Cavaliers selected Harper 32nd overall, the Magic acquired his draft rights by trading their second-round pick in 2013 and their second-round pick in 2014 to the Cavs.

Question. Do you take Fab Melo if he's still on the board?

I'd rather see us attach our first and with a bad contract and see if we can get it moved. Then take a shot in the 2nd round on: Furkan Aldemir, Festus Ezeli, Henry Sims, Jeff Withey or Tyshawn Taylor.

If we keep the pick, I'd like to see Mason Plumlee here.

Say that the New Jersey Nets get the #1 pick, would anybody consider trading Dwight Howard for Anthony Davis? 8-)

Jeff Taylor would be perfect. Athletic, defends and can hit threes.

Is there any kind of possibility we can take Jeremy Lamb? What do you think of him?
