Holy hell, are you guys hearing JRudolph on 740 the game?

He believes Bob Vander Weide told Stan.....glad that nut is gone.

Here's the Link: http://www.iheart.com/live/601/?autoplay=true

Also, we're looking at Rudy Tomjonavich.

Lol, Otis called Detroit around the Trade Deadline looking ot deal Dwight. He was then stripped of all trade-making power....

And you guys actually believe that crap about him "stepping down" now that Stan is gone. LOL.

Making a point about how having no retired jerseys really speaks on how we handle relationships....

Head Coach.

He says if Dwight gets traded it will be a few days within the draft.

I disagree.....

He said some heavy stuff about Stan and Otis at the end...

Also, anyone else hear this stuff about how Don Nelson used to have "flopping drills" at the end of practice with the Warriors? LOL.

Rudy T is random. guy hasn't done much since his championships - almost 20 years ago. but, he does know how to build a championship caliber offense around a big man i guess. it's just a shame Dwight's not nearly as skilled as the Dream.

I agree, never thought about it, either until now, but that's a pretty loud action. We have to be one of the very few teams who don't have a retired jersey.

He also said alot about how Otis actually did want to leave, because he felt that Alex didn't know what he was doing. Otis actually really did "like this team" and felt that Dwight was sabotoging it by turning the team against Stan. He liked his moves, and believed Dwight was the reason they weren't working, that's why he didn't make any more changes.

He felt Dwight was ruining the team, and that Alex and co. couldn't see that, and that they needed to trade Dwight, and was upset when they didn't. They hadn't completely come to a decision on Otis ( :nonono: ), but after this, Otis really did want to leave. He believes they are trying too hard to keep someone who doesn't want to stay.

JRudolph said that really, it was his own ineptitude which led to this mess. Which I couldn't agree with more.

What players jersey do you all really think should be retired?

An above average role player - Nick Anderson
Our heart and hustle captain - Darrell Armstrong

Yeah, that was his point.

We are on the brink of losing our 4th franchise player in 20 years.........That's borderline ridiculous.

Even though, to be fair, all 3 of them have expressed interest at coming back at some point, so it couldn't have been that bad.

I don't understand what is so unbelievable about Dwight still wanting to leave.

Firing Stan was just a shot in the dark to keep Dwight. It is far from a guarantee of Dwight staying.

LMAO at Otis. The guy really did live in a bubble, too bad Dwight went and broke his toys.

What would speak volumes in regards to jerseys being retired is bringing back the guys whose jerseys should be retired. The Magic should hire Shaq & Penny give them some type of jobs in the organization it will be nice seeing them around. Bring back Tmac to end his career here. If the magic would do this it will show Dwight the Magic believe in tradition and I think this is what Dwight will need to mature.

I wouldn't be surprised, with the comment Alex Martins said about Championship experience that Shaq being hired for a position within the organization.

Let's start a petition to bring Shag, Penny, Tmac, Darrell Armstrong back, this team needs it now.
This year should be all about "Tradition" start implementing it in Dwight's head and send a message to the magic fan base that we are going to bring back that tradition we've once had...

No way on Adonal Foyle as GM, enough with the experimenting and bring in either Walsh or Pritchard, they know how to build contenders and are RESPECTED around the league unlike Otis and what would be Foyle.

Head coach is secondary to a new GM in my opinion, we need to improve the team and HC will not make a difference, Phil Jackson couldnt take this roster to a title.

I'm still floored by the implication that Otis actually thought Dwight was to blame for our teams short comings. Thank goodness that Martins stepped in and stripped the man of power.
