Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XXXI: Off-Season Edition)

Post#41 » by PaMagicFan1 » Tue Jul 3, 2012 5:13 pm

Hey guys, haven't posted in a while, but following every day. Did anyone listen to van pelt show with Linda Cohn??? WTF? I'm so sick of espn. She basically said the nets could be giving up too much for Dwight but they have to do it. She said Orlando is getting a great deal and that both sides would be extremely happy. Do these idiots even watch the games???

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA

As Orlando works to unload Dwight Howard, Magic focusing on Lakers' Andrew Bynum as top target, sources tell Y! Sports. Story soon on site.

NJ has no "young talent". Don't even try to say Marshon Brooks.

Can't salary dump on NJ. Most we could send to NJ is (and this is appx due to Kris and Lopez not having deals yet) 10 mil for Wallace + 12 mil for Lopez + 8 mil for Humpries + 2 mil for Brooks. Brooks is BYC and would only count for 6 mil I believe. So that's 26 million. That would take NJ nearly to the hard cap, and they'd only have a starting 5, no bench.

We could do worse than Bynum.

Still want young players + picks though.

Then get Shabazz//Nerlens :)

Right there with you, i will never ever understand people infatuation with this guy and personally would only trade for him if we can find another team dumb enough to give us a nice return in a trade later.

Building a team around a piece of **** like that will never work out well

So what you're saying is you want to tank for 5 years? Just give up? Bynum secures a position that's very, very hard to fill with talent AND size. He has offensive and defensive skills. He's the best we'll probably ever get at that position for years. I swear having Dwight has spoiled too many of you guys and you've forgotten what it's like having crappy to serviceable centers.

Good article on what Henny needs to, although he probably already is, keep in mind this offseason.

i like bynum but im still not sold on his health and mental issues. I rather go for the salary dump/young good players/draft picks. If bynum comes to orlando I wont be mad.
