Not expect anything major yet and not judging him based on this short time. I love Meer but this signing is just not making any sense to me. It's taking away cap space and making us better when Dwight is clearly gone.

And we'll see what happens with Anderson but the Nicholson pick was meh. If the plan was always to let Anderson go then I like it.

He is set up for failure in most people on here's eyes. Unless he resigned dwight to a 10 year deal and did a trade for CP3 most everyone is going to be disappointed.

Meer's deal is a pretty good one, he cleaned house and the draft picks have potential. Not sure what else you could expect in 2 weeks.

Seriously? It's been two weeks. So we have....

Drafted Nicholson and O'Quinn on short notice

Resigned Jameer to a pretty good contract (barring the third year option)
--The moneys less then what he was making
--What better options did we have with our cap situation and 'trade assets'

Deciding on JJ's option (will prob keep him)

He's not turning Hedo/Jrich/Ryno/Duhon/JJ into star players or trading them for stars....so what do you expect?

What do you feel like he should be doing?

Someone on 1 or 2 year deal with an option. Not 3 years and not for 6 million per year. Love Jameer and love the loyalty but we are only hurting ourselves in the long run.

he is a funny dude that's for sure... that sharapova impersonation is on point... too bad nadal gets pissed any time he would imitate him, so he stopped... but i guess thats because of his OCD so he doesnt find it funny

The Nelson deal makes sense because we didn't have a PG. Plain and simple. It makes more sense if Rob can move JRich, Duhon and Hedo in the coming months for expirings or picks back, clearing 14 million off the roster for the summer of 2013.

Jameer's contract sucks, and he is on the decline. But we're practically forced to do it because nobody else wants to be here and we can't let Duhon start.

Lol, I guess we could have just tried to tank hard with Duhon but we can still tank with Meer. I am thinking more people like Meer and identify with him and maybe JJ or Big Baby so maybe they well sell these two as the faces of the franchise and the loyalty-wants-to-be-here angle to get fans to still come to games. That and a price decrease, lol. No one likes Duhon. He isn't marketable at all. Just an idea though.

I do think we will let Ryan go. His award and stats were gonna draw offers and we don't need to overpay. I wonder why we have not heard those offers reported though. That's strange.
