I wouldn't expect them to trade Curry, that would be pointless. But one of Barnes or Klay MUST be included to clear that much cap space. low draft picks won't cut it. Hence why they are beggars and not choosers. They have no leverage.

Dwight practices threes, too, so I'd hold expectations down to a minimum. We'll see if Nicholson actually takes and makes any during games. It is good news that he's trying to improve though... first supposedly adding muscle and now his shot...

Not necessarily. The fact that they have stood by their stance to not trade those guys and they still have at least 3 teams interested in doing it for the draft pick alone is proof that they are still in a seller's market.

Not necessarily. The fact that they have stood by their stance to not trade those guys and they still have at least 3 teams interested in doing it for the draft pick alone is proof that they are still in a seller's market.

I suspect teams would be interested in Bogut merely for cap space because he's an asset. But Beans, Jefferson have negative value. I can't see a team taking on those contracts for low draft picks.

It is good advice to take all these summer improvements with a grain of salt (remember when Dwight worked with Hakeem?), but Nicholson already had a good jumper so its much less surprising that he could add a 3 point shot.

Looking forward to some summer league so we can overreact to the good and bad of Magic young guns and the other players people thought the Magic should've drafted.

it's already been in his game since college this isn't something out of the blue. Plus it'll be good for spacing and spacing is always good

Yeah whenever I went to games, I saw Dwight practice before and was suprised by how many 3's he made. But I'm sure AN is way more perimeter skilled than Dwight.

He only made 29 total threes in four years of college, where the line is shorter. Lots of NBA players make 3s in practice. It will be encouraging when he makes them at an efficient rate in NBA games. Personally, I'd prefer for him to master the mid to long range two before stepping out to the 3pt line.

I would think that if a team like the Hawks think they can have 60+ games of Bogut next to Al Horford, Josh Smith, Lou Williams, and Jeff Teague while getting the 2014 pick from GSW, it is definitely worth taking on Beans or Jefferson for a year. That's what I mean.

But AN didn't start shooting 3's until his junior year and his shooting % went up during his senior year even though he shot twice as many 3's as his junior year. Granted, the sample size is small, but its at least reason to believe it could be a useful tool for him even if he doesn't turn into Ryan Anderson.

Great to hear about Nich on the 3pt shooting. Wish some news leaked of his speed+agility because I still think the way he runs will be his downfall. His offensive skill set is coming a long nicely though so maybe we will just have to settle with a solid offensive PF that could hurt you on D. A guy like Nicholson would be great next to a center like Marc Gasol, Noah, Hibbert, Jordan or sanders.

Hell ya. I knew moe would be putting in work. His frame seems like it could REALLY put on some muscle.
Weight up to 222 is HUGE too.

Max bench of 230 still isn't anything to talk about but I'd expect it to be close to 250+ once the season starts
