He's day-to-day with a sprained left ankle. Disappointing, since I think we were all looking forward to seeing him (among others) tonight.

David West would destroy Nicholson. Maxiell is the better choice to start this game, he much more physical and actually plays defense. For me the bad outweigh the good when it comes to Nicholson. I'm hoping he'll improve his defense because he really does have a nice offensive game, but right now he's just so terrible on defense.

I suppose West is a pretty tough first assignment, but I'd rather have Nicholson play against him first than Kevin Love, which would happen tomorrow night. If we're in truly in tank mode, I don't see why we wouldn't throw Drew in there right off the bat, for some high quality experience. It would parallelize nicely with Vaughn's promise to develop our young core!

It's appropriate that Brian Hill and Tony Battie are sitting side by side in the booth. Brian Hill loved him some Tony Battie. That duo pretty much sucked whatever motivation Darko ever had right out of the tank. I still believe Darko might (keyword: might) have emerged as a real player if he had gotten the start that year. He was teetering on the verge of complete indifference towards basketball, and that seemed to tip him right over.

That season was absolutely brutal as a fan. I'm no Darko apologist, the guy just doesn't really care, but there was no reason for Battie to be starting.

Don't care about what the vets do at this point. It's all about Dipo, Vuc, Hark, and Harris (when he gets back).

The best stream I have is a Pacers feed. Hopefully their commentators are good because this stream is fantastic quality compared to the others.
