Magic's top need right now is PF being they do have Meer and plenty of FA PG's they can sign in addition to Lavine, Ennis or Payton. PG's are a dime a dozen right now. Playoff caliber starting PF's are scarce.

Aww, very cute! Now go play in the corner while the adults talk basketball.

Do you define adult as someone who is clueless? Because your post is factually incorrect on various points. Sorry if facts are inconvenient to your IQ level.

Noah Vonleh may be our man!!
There are a few recent reports/rumblings that "Noah's Arc" Vonleh may be our choice at #4. This guy is an absolute huge beast/monster! I have watched alot of footage of him and I swear the basketball looks like a melon in his huge "ET" hands.
Wanted to ask the Forum this: If we pick Vonleh at#4, do we have enough assets, including AA, to nab a PG such as Smart ?? Is this something we could pull off?

I'm not sure what the word "fact" means to you but the fact is that Harris is a tweener forward who's complete lack of defensive ability, especially away from the basket, means his long term place in this league is at the PF position.
If we still had Dwight Howard at C, Harris could be a nice option as the starting PF but Vuc isn't a strong shot blocker which means Harris is better suited for the 6th man role here.

I agree, if there was a PF worth taking at #4, which there isn't. Exum/Smart fill our second biggest need and would do it much more comfortably

Why is that? Most mocks have Vonleh at 5 to the Jazz, Randle at 6 or 7. Why is it so far fetched to most of you, that neither Vonleh or Randle are a good choice 1-2 picks higher??

A few SI linked reports;...if Henny knows he can trade up, somehow, to get Smart, this may not be a bad move ?
I had been thinking, all along, that Smart will be our pick at #4, but I guess Henny could get both?? I would think that picking Vonleh at 4 is very risky if he wants Smart.

Re: Noah Vonleh may be our man!!
I guess Chad Ford has us taking him in his new mock draft. It might make sense because their might be more guards available at 12. Payton, Lavine. Ennis, Staukus

Those are opinions not facts. Here are some facts:
His opponent counterpart PER at SF was 10.2 at PF it was 19.6.
His Net Production at SF was +3.9 and at PF it was -1.4
http://www.82games.com/1314/13ORL9.HTM
Those numbers indicate exactly the opposite of what your statement pontificates. Also, the center is not the only position a shot blocker can reside- you know there are rim protecting PF 's.
Harris is a forward not a tweener - meaning he can play both roles depending on what the game situation requires. The NBA trend is to play small at PF, he has the ability to do that (and is where he is better offensively) but he is much more effective defensively at SF.
I agree Harris could be a great 6th man, but not because he can't be a solid starter at SF - but because hopefully the Magic will be deep enough to have that luxury ...which we just might after this draft.

There is a fine line between ignorance and denial and you appear to have one foot on each side of it.

I may change my name to Threadman !
Seriously, who knows, maybe Vonleh at #4, and if Henny can package AA, #12, one of the young en's, maybe
we could still get Smart ? Hell, I'd stuff Lamb and Price in the package as well
Agree with Nemesis, the ******* Cavs ***** us! We should be in top three.
