Sounds like a 10th pick to me, not a 5

So who do you draft ?

My order:
Winslow (BPA at #5 in my opinion)
Hezonja
Porzingis (Only if Hennigan thinks hes as good as some scouts)
WCS
Stanley Johnson

I'd even take Trey Lyes and Dekker before Turner

Ok thanks for your opinion.Ok for lyles,he played out of position in college but i like his game. But dekker over turner i don't get it.

Finding a big that can shoot threes is difficult. Finding a big that can shoot threes and adequately defend the rim is tougher. Finding a big that can shoot threes and be an elite rim protector is near impossible. Myles Turner has the potential to be one of those.

my ONLY worry about Turner is his inability to guard the PnR as a PF (assuming he'll be playing next to Vuc). Hopefully that notion can be dispelled during his workout with us (if he gets one). Then again, he can't be worse than Frye.

I like Turner but i guess i was kinda bummed out that he didn't participate in any of the athletic testing, though if we bring him in for a workout that'll take care of itself.

It's hard to find a "perfect" fit in this draft. Each stretch PF has their faults. We could go with WCS, who is awesome at defending pick n' roll, but then you also sacrifice floor spacing in a team that desperately needs it. I don't think Porzingis is going to be able to defend pick n' roll that well either in the NBA, and while he's a good shooter, I'm skeptical of his ability to defend the post and rebound. I like Turner's combination of rim protection, rebounding, post defense, 3 point shooting, and his ability to play center at times as well.

LOVED Turner coming out of HS. Was probably my favorite guy in the class between Towns... Actually, I had him ahead of Towns.

He didn't perform as well as other top prospects, so his stock dropped, but I still remember the time when we used to talk about having to lose a lot of games in order to be able to draft Turner. I would be happy drafting him. At least he gives me hope of being a possible solution.

I think his coach didn't help, like you I was expecting more from him, but at this point there isn't an other player at #5 that has a higher 2 way ceiling

Is turner really a PF? Looks like he could be a pure C. Which is ok, but not sure i see him being able to play next to vuc
