Best of luck, Vooch. You’ll be missed, but hopefully you find more team success than this organization was able to provide.

Man, this one stings, even though it was the right thing to do. Can’t believe we will be watching 5 eastern conference teams in the playoffs, all with former Magic starters on them... and a WC team too.
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

Vuc!! Come back after your prime years! Be willing to sign you for the Vet and we can retire your jersey.

Appreciate the professionalism and improvements you showed us. Go win that ring!

Truly shocked that we traded him. I’m a huge Vucevic fan and hope he does well there. One of the best to ever wear Magic blue. I hope we retire his number 9 one day.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

Shaq, Penny, T-Mac, Dwight, and then Voooooooooooooch.

After those first four guys, he and Grant Hill are the only multi-time all-stars on the Magic.

I'm grateful for Vucevic's tenure here. I'll always associate the post-Dwight Howard Magic with Nikola Vucevic. I didn't make much of him when we first acquired him in 2012. But, he really turned himself into an A1 center in the league. He's a great player, and an easy guy to root for. After missing the playoffs for 7 straight years, he led us back to them twice. And I'll always be grateful for those memories.

There are two high-profile Orlando Magic alumni that have earned an elite honor status that, in my mind, pushes them to ahead of greater, hall-of-fame level players like Dwight and Shaq in the franchise's player rankings. The first is Nick Anderson for reasons that need no explanation. And the second is Nikola Vucevic, and Vuc had far fewer reasons to stick around.

Vuc will be inducted into the Magic hall of fame, and he will be one of the most deserving members. I wish him nothing but the best in Chicago.

Good, loyal guys like Vuc don't come around often. Wish him great team success, he clearly deserves it. Hope we bring him back at some point.

Who can't forget that 20/20 game he had against the Heatles?

I value loyalty a lot nowadays and in today's NBA its easy to root for the name on the back of the jersey than the name on the front. Vooch, in some ways... Our franchise failed you, catering your game for the team to help try to maximize the minimum talents that we had around you. You went through so many coaches and management, players that was signed and drafted to replace you, let you kept grinding and got better. You're a two time all star for our beloved Orlando Magic.

Yeah, you're the face of some dark times around here... but seeing you finally get to the postseason and know what you been through to get there. You seem to really enjoy your time here and I truly believe you didn't want to leave... I have yet to see him respond like some of the other Magic players traded on Twitter... I'm sure its a bit of a shock, but it's the nature of the business.

This is a rough day, like it was when Penny, T-Mac and Jameer ended their Magic Tenure. I wish you the best in Chicago and go be great with Zach Lavine and company in Chicago... I will defiantly tune in and keep tabs on you. It may never happen, but I wouldn't be upset if "9" ends up in the rafters, but a sure thing into the Magic Hall of Fame. It's gonna be super weird going to the game Friday not hearing Paul Porter announce "NIKOLA VOOOO-Cevic" any more. Best of luck Big Fella.

That is, imo, maybe the perfect spot for Vuc. I actually ♡ it.

Vuc,

I've dissed you enough over the years so I'll keep it all positive. You've become quite the offensive weapon late in your career, what with your newly developed 3 point shot and all. You were able to really maximise your career here. When you first arrived we didn't know whether or not you'd be better than Gustavo Ayon. Two all-star games... who'da thunk it? And you've always been a super swell guy. I will miss your high IQ passing. I will not miss your stanchion throws. Good luck in Chicago.

Sad to see him move. His loyalty was unwavering. He developed his game when everyone thought he’ll be obsolete.

Will miss the guy.
