Oh Isaiah Hartenstain, prime Hakeem in eyes of some people. You would thought guy wasn't bounced around like garbage 2 years ago, losing rotation to McGee, Jeff Green, Bruno Coboclo etc.
That guy is prime example why players want to play on big markets. People think he is some uber elite center only because he was on biggest market team in playoffs. Just like nobody ever mentions Marcus Smart any more, but on Celtics he was God's gift to Earth.

This is Celtics 4th win in last 5 games vs Knicks. They are simply better team.

The Celtics are simply better but KAT is known to be a terrible defender… which is why Minnesota traded for Gobert and became a good team for the first time in decades. KAT is an all-star scorer, there is no doubt about that but I highly question the fit defensively.

This is flat out false.
2021-22 Wolves defense WITH Towns at center: 111,7 -before Gobert trade
2022-23 Wolves defense with Gobert - 113,8

During first year with Gobert they actually were worst defensive team
But wait, there is more, addition of Gobert in first year also resulted in worst offense. Overall their net rating went from +2,6 to 0,00.

They only started to look like functional team when they got Conley for full season, Edwards improved etc.

Will be fun to see what will Wolves do this year. They are 100% worst on offense this year, and it's not like Randle is better on defense than Towns.

Tatum made more threes than the Celts had team FTs :o

The 29-61 three ball stat line is interesting in that NBA teams have won games taking less than 61 FG attempts!

Boston's best 5 players at least hit 4 threes. We probably gonna have at least 40 games next season where none of our players hits 4 threes in a game. My bet is over.

And the fifth starter made 3 !

The starters AVERAGED 5.1 made threes between the five.

I mean.. its not even like a well designed pkay, its just passing the ball around until someone chucks it.

33 assists on 3 TOs. If it ain't broken don't fix it. This "passing the ball around until someone chucks it" works very, very well.
It\s not like the Celts played average defense; they did not. They just steam rolled the Knicks scoring wise.

Yeah... but NYK offense is just give it to Brunson amd let him cook. Also... the league is now used to Brunsons flopping so they couldnt capitalize on that anymore.. thus, the 3pt barrage just demoralized them.

Oh man. 0% chance of that.

OKC won 57 last year and added two super high end role players in Caruso and Hartenstein while losing no one of consequence.

Unless they are just decimated by lengthy injuries, they feel like a near lock to win 58+ games.

The Magic won't sniff that this year unless Paolo's secretly about to launch a "oh by the way I'm a top 12 NBA player now" kind of season.

Don't be surprised to read a news headline : " Magic Realgm poster arrested trying to whack OKC Thunder players legs "

Headline might read better as :
"All sports forecasting is trash because AI didn't have a web filter and analyzed opinions on Magic Realgm forum. Vegas declares bankruptcy."

That's the problem with AI.... they can't measure our "feelings" but instead rely on numbers/stats.

I guess the AI that called people idiots was doing it based on stats and not analyzing the wrong interactions.

Honestly? No issue whatsoever with Daniels reaction/response there.

He didn't go in and immediately throw hands, but he definitely let Claxton know it was bush league.

This was impressive. He rode out some of his bench players to secure a come from behind victory. The rockets were up by 18 (I think) in the second half.

No disagreement about Daniels. Was thinking more about Claxton’s clothesline.

So i bought NBA 2K25, entered myTeam , picked Hornets, drafted Sarr and won championship on simulation in first year. so far so good for NBA2K projections

Houston actually played well, especially Segun, Miller didn't play well at all, and yet they still won. 100% team to keep close eye on in terms of EC standings.
