Moe isn't going anywhere, you don't trade an injured player that means so much this team and you don't trade Franz s brother, this is bad business

Just watch the Wagner brothers documentary to understand. Franz will never look at Orlando the same and will ruin much of what has been built the past few years.
And that isn’t even talking about how good of a personality and role he fits for this team.
Just stupid thinking.

Yeah, damn. That's what it looked like. Of course we wre all hoping at some unexpected good news of like a MCL sprain or smt. It sucks, he was having a really good season. I was already in the pro-Mo camp and I am starting to like him even more after the documentary. Hopefully he can stick around and come back stronger. As long as we have both Wendell and Goga, we can be okay, but weré starting to become really thin in the frontcourt all of a sudden. And we really need to hope Paolo and Franz can return before we start to dip way under .500.

If you're somehow reading this, Moritz, get well soon man!

Oh, and he's not going anywhere, certainly not during the season. Get a hold of yourselves.

Very surprised to see some of the comments by some posters in relation to Mo. He’s not easy to replace. He was a top-3 Sixth Man candidate. He was our 4th highest scorer. He’s not getting waived or traded. If we decline his option in the offseason it’ll be to sign him on a longer deal.

Mosley has to send Wendell to the bench to be the backup center. Isaac can’t handle it.

Sucks for Germany, too. Mo is probably missing EuroBasket.
He's not easy to replace, but when Paolo comes back, Goga is likely to fill his minutes instead of going to the bench. Goga is as good a player. We just don't have any insurance if one of our other bigs goes down.

Mo Bamba is making $2m this season. I'm sure a player of that caliber will get waived.

They would mind, but it is a business. Not sure we actually do it and I hope Moe recovers and balls out.

But come on, let's not act like Moe wasn't hoping from huge offers from different teams in that doc and lamented having to play the big brother role with Franz either. He likes Orlando but he wasn't chained to the idea.

Moe isn't going to get special treatment. That would be toxic and counter productive. Any decisions will be based on putting the team in the best position to achieve their goals.

Brutal. Extremely tough season with injuries, even by our standards. Can't let negstivity take over though.

I 100% do not see us trading him. First of all, he's a very productive player and a big part of our team and identity. Secondly, the intangible aspects. I would be absolutely floored if he was traded. I suppose there's always the non-zero chance a team eventually makes him a big offer and he leaves voluntarily, but I don't see the Magic ever being the side that ends the partnership.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Isaac got special treatment. Mo has at least earned his.

It’s also bad business to just dump guys. Players and agents notice that behavior.

Wendell should be coming off the bench.
Goga is the superior starting center.

Sad news about Mo. I think people don’t understand what an awesome job he does off the bench for us and has for years. He is one of the best bench players in the league and an elite irritant. His brother is arguably the best player on the team. We are not just going to cut Mo for some cap space, he is a bargain to begin with.

I don't think they waive or trade him this season, but i think they'll renegotiate next season. We have a team option for $11m. I could see them offering him $6m with a team option for the next season. Remember, we're going to be around $12m over the tax apron.

Either way, both Wendell and Goga are a pretty good tandem at center.

Well, you obviously haven't watched the part of the Wagner's documentary when the Magic were low balling him during the contract negotiations in '23.

Franz is tied with his extension to the end of' 29 season if I'm correct so he has no leverage now. He would have to stomach the trade. And there's always a possibility of an under the table deal where Mo gets cut after the trade and comes back to the Magic to do a rehab and eventually gets a shot afterwards to won his plave in the rotation back sometime in 2026.

Does GER have any 7footer in their pipeline ready to play?

He was not eligible for a 2 way. We had to sign him outright.
