I think he does need to change if he wants longevity in this game. His mentality is so intense and his drive is so enormously high - these qualities make him what he is - very special!
Somehow though, and I'm not sure how, he has to find a way to avoid the reckless abandon that causes such strain and impact on his body - how to do this and maintain his incredible motor will be difficult to do.
