Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:
"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

The Kings did just trade Bibby away for pretty much nothing in return except for expirings. It is pretty obvious what they are doing. Miller has a pretty big contract over the next 2 years so they are trying to get that off the roster pronto.

This is form EBSports.com from the dude who called the Marion trade before it happened:
They're talking pretty heavy.
Orlando isn't a big fan of Brad or Kenny's deal...Otis isn't really trying to take a big deal in return, which is why Kurt works best...as he expires.
That said...Seattle has no reason to make that move without getting something of value in return, and what they want, Otis doesn't feel Thomas is worth.

Perhaps to sweeten the pot? They apparently want to get rid of Miller's contract. We wouldn't need to get Salmons because we've got 92 SGs already
But I'm alway suspect of "sources" on the interweb.

This year, but he's not played a full season his entire career. The closest was 2 seasons ago with 79. Last season he missed 9 games (~10% of the season) and scored only 9 per game.
I've always thought he'd a good fit. And as I said, playing next to Dwight would help him tremendously.
agreed

So it shouldnt cost us a pick either, thats a gross contract for a team trying to play the market.

True.
Another update I just read is the Thomas deal is there and it is up to Otis to take, but he is trying to get the Kings deal done which is better. We may know for sure what is going to happen tonight if our players aren't playing.

C. Miller / Foyle
PF. Howard / Cook / Augustine
Sf. Rashard / Garcia
Sg. Turk / Evans/ J.J
Pg. Nelson / Dooling
Or Howard at center and Miller at PF? Looks like a very good team, IMO. It looks like J.J. will still be the odd guard out.
That would be a sick lineup. Garcia strengthens the bench and Miller finally gives us a good big man who can shoot, rebound and pass beside Howard. The Magic would be contenders if this trade goes down IMO.

If this roster is not a contender I don't know which is???
But maybe we should not get too excited before we see any kind of confirmation....
