That's what I'm thinking the matchup might be as well. Generally guys that have given Lewis trouble are bangers, and Bosh likes the outside a lot. Thing is, if they put Bargnani in with him, that takes Howard away from protecting the rim.

just finished watching the Nuggets/Raptors game from March 23rd, that is a good game to watch right there. It illustrates the point of allowing Bosh to play his game to a degree with adequate defense while guarding the shooters one on one and doubling down on the bigs.
Rasho had just over 25 minutes and put up 10/3.
the key to this game was cutting Delfino, Kapono and Ford off, combined they logged about 44 minutes and were only allowed to score 11 points, grab zero rebounds and they were not allowed to penetrate easy, get open for 3 or dish out to the bigs with ease.
perfect example

Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:
"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

I haven't checked the stats yet, but after watching about 5.5 Raps games so far, it would appear that Moon is the clear cut hands down best rebounder on their team, and the main reason why they accumulate as many boards as they do (which is the Raps glaring weakness). I would assume Bosh is the statistical leader, but based on the games I have seen, Moon is their best board man...
this will need to be a serious focal point of the defense...

another big time exploit game is this Detroit match up from last Sunday. Granted this is Detroit, however, watching the game they are running the same strategy, they are sticking with Bosh and allowing him to do his thing as best as he can while being guarded, they are doubling down Rasho and Bargs and not allowing them to get it easy and forcing them to pass it out or put it up. Another key to this game appears to be substitutions, Detroit killed Toronto with subs, Mitchell seems to be very Brian Hill in his adjustment strategies once the other team subs, and as a result it forces the team to work out their own adjustment on the fly and it usually takes a few minutes before they groove, by that time Flip is making another adjustment...
it looks like forcing everyone not named Bosh to create his own shot is the best way to go, the perimeter game will be key, and we are going to have to come up with a way to drive to the basket over and over and over again, Rasho is a good defender, but loves to come help and he appears to draw a lot of fouls in games with consistent penetration vs. one on one games...
of course everything "changes" in the playoffs...teams are scouting one another hard...but only so much can change, teams dont metamorphisize in the course of 4-5 days...

is that why Dirk had a game of 31-11 against you guys?
why Bosh had a 40-5-5 performance?
why Jamison put up 31-11 in a game where WAS scored 87 pts?
and why in the same game Boozer put up 24-9-6 and Millsap 28-7?
if bangers also give Shard trouble...he's in a bit of trouble.
The only top PF scorer to not play well against ORL was David West..
18-11, 14-5
**This is obviously based solely on stats of PFs, but I never watched the games, so maybe Howard switched to guard them at half or something, I wouldn't know.

Don't remember who was on who in those games other than the Bosh 40pt game in which he scored 10 straight (or something) field goals on Howard, not Lewis.
But Dirk (20) and Jamison (19 and 20) also had sub scoring games compared to their average, so there's that. Millsap doesn't have a play ran for him so whatever he gets is going to be off of hustle type of plays, and Boozer mixes it up inside and out.
Look at Zach Randolph, his scoring average against us and overall as an example of what I'm talking about.

Just my opinion. You can't gaurd Bosh straight up unless you have an excellent defender around his size/speed. Sheed, and Varejo have always been the best at gaurding him 1 on 1, but he'll take most guys in the league 1 on 1 pretty easily. When TJ's in the game doubling off him with Meer is a pretty good option. If Calderon is in the game he can stick shots, but a lot of others on teh 2nd unit can't so there's plenty of players to double off.

22-9 in 33 mins
23-10 in 33 mins

8-19 - 42%
8-19 - 42%
8-21 - 38%

SEASON AVG. 17.6, 10.2, 46%
The percentages are down, but I would suggest that Bosh will/is
a) play more minutes
b) a better player
c) quicker
d) better supporting cast to worry about than the Knicks
e) Bosh shoots nearly 50% (.495) from the floor
and therefore will do more damage than Randolph, who did comparably well against the magic vs. the rest of the league.
