I always enjoy looking at someones starting stats

Watsons in 17 games as a starter...

14.3 points, 4 boards, 3.6 assists, 1.4 steals

I like it off the bench he could be awesome!

Damn! Now watch Boston try to convince Golden State to match Watson to screw Orlando over.

I think he is the backup pg that I wanted. I dont like AJ's game, sometimes he is decent but I want someone younger there. I think CJ is the answer, he could be here for a long time.
Very good addition, I hope luck is on our side this time.

Sign and trade for Redick if is necessary.

Good p&r player b/c of his ability to pull up. Nice high release on his jumper. Good consistancy. He's a pretty pesky defender. He could avg more assists in SVG's system. We will see.

I really wish we'd get a pass-first PG but I wouldn't be mad at seein this guy on the team as our first back up. But that's coming from a big AJ fan so I'm not terribly worried about our #2...

...yet.

I love this move.

Wow. It's weird, throughout the past, the team has generally done a series of moves which I range from like to dislike, but this off-season I really like everything we're doing. A move I did not expect, but that I very much approve of. I can't say how excited I'm getting for next season.

CJ Watson is a STUD! Trust me, we will not be let down by this kid. I love this signing if it was to happen!

Dwight Howard / Marcin Gortat / **Adonal Foyle**
Brandon Bass / Ryan Anderson / **Richard Hendrix**
Rashard Lewis / **Matt Barnes** / Mickael Peitrus
Vince Carter / Mickael Peitrus / JJ Reddick
Jameer Nelson / Anthony Johnson / **CJ Watson**

** Not on the team yet.

:o WOW!

id prefer this watson over earl

look at his game log last year, hes got a lot of skill

probably a waste of time though, i cant imagine them not matching 1.7/year

Is the signing for the rest of the MLE?

If so, then we can leave Barnes out of the rotation and expect MP to see more minutes at the 3 this off-season.....maybe this is the year where Reddick can see his consistent minutes

Well, they do have like 14 guards.

By the way, if the Magic sign Hendrix as our "guy who never really plays, but is a good kid and insurance on the bench just in case," I will **** my pants. Plus, I totally made a prediction that he'd be on our team.

Very solid pick up. Does this mean we have no more shot at getting Matt Barnes?

good pick and roll player, esp. last season showed improvement, as he can shoot great off the dribble AND catch-and-shoot spots.

I would guess so. Only way its not is if, Barnes could be sign and traded by PHO (highly unlikely), if Barnes takes the Magic offer before Watson, and if Watson is matched and Barnes is still on the market and then Barnes wants to play with Magic for less than other offers....
Not likely its looking now..
I like Watson tho alot. I would sign him over Barnes.

GREAT signing if true!

He is young and will get better gaining valuable experience without having to rely on him in the clutch.

Way to go OTIS! Keep the arms race going! This is going to be a kick a** season to watch. Shaping up to be the best in 25 years.
