Damn I'm watching the Rockets vs. the Spurs and Sean Elliott just went on a rant about Dwight. A really good one actually.

He started by saying "memo to Magic front office, just trade Dwight Howard already!" He said that his antics are getting annoying and he doesn't understand what his actions are doing to his teammates. If he was a member of the Magic, he wouldn't want to play with him on the court. Said there was a toxic cloud hanging over us and that he understands why his teammates aren't going as hard as they did earlier in the season.

The ball was thrown in to him on the inbounds, and I guess he just really didn't want to shoot the free throws or didn't want to attempt handling the ball pressure, but in any event he immediately got rid of it in an attempted pass to Duhon, but the pass was easily picked off and the Wiz laid it in to cut the lead to 4.

Ryan should get the ball more. We have seen him make good moves around the basket. The team pretty much ignores him unless he is spotting up. We saw in the C's game that the team was ignoring him even with Pierce guarding him, and then SVG called his number and he promptly scored 2 point blank shots on him. Of course we never went back to it.

Oh and we desperately need to get faster and more athletic.

What should happen is for these guys to just play the game. The "antics" are no more than a few ill-advised comments. Everyone involved is making it way harder than it should be. All you have to do now is play basketball. All you have to do if Dwight stays is play basketball. All you have to do if Dwight leaves is play basketball. The drama is just stupid, if we want we can keep Dwight all season. Otis isn't helping matter by constantly trying to outmaneuver Dwight in the "political comments so I don't get the blame" game.

I think its just a slump that escalated into more for various reasons, I don't think our guys are THAT thin-skinned. I know I'm not, I'm enjoying these regular season wins as much as I would any other, partly because they might be some of our last. We had three guys who had really good games, Dwight made his free throws and got 4 steals and Anderson made some very nice buckets. What's so hard about letting things play out?

Does anybody have any info in regards to Turks injury? Is it all better? After that injury he has been in a slump...

The starters played great and the bench stunk it up. Orlando really need Richardson-2 and Nelson to get healthy fast!
