There are no anomalies here; Stephen Jackson is old, doesn't have much left in the tank, is owed $10 mil next season (when he'll be 35). And, he SUCKS. Why you guys are infatuated with him (regardless of what Dwight says) is beyond me.

And why ignore this year? Do you think he'll magically turn everything around and be that player you think he is? No, it's not going to happen. And yes, you do drop off for no reason. See: Jameer Nelson, Hedo, and Rashard.

Him not playing for the Bucks isn't about him being terrible, it's about him not wanting to be there ..

i am not sure how this is a good thing.

also only explains this season, not the 2 seasons before this one.

You mean the ones where he averaged 20 and 18 PPG...?

Don't worry. He will play hard once he gets to the Magic. Count on it. While we're going after the "We Believe" Warriors, How hard would it be to get Baron, Harrington, Pietrus, and Barnes in pinstripes?

Nobody is "infatuated" with him....it's simply basically a Hedo-SJax swap, and I think a lot of people have no problem doing that if it helps keep Dwight. Hedo hasn't had a "major injury" but don't you think that back spasms, elbow issues, etc etc (all the little minor things he keeps dealing with) probably affect him a bit? Just look at the end of last year compared to the beginning of this year. He was way more productive at the beginning of this year when he was completely healthy than at the end of last year when he was dealing with minor issues. Rashard had KNEE SURGERY. What are you talking about, acting like he is perfectly healthy.

I'm curious how you guys think you get the best player in the deal (Ellis) without giving up Anderson. He would more then likely be included. There is no other value besides him because everyone else is on a bad contract except JJ.

I think everyone here understands, and expects, Redick & Anderson to be gone.

This is what I keep thinking. Is Ellis truly the answer. I only want him if Dwight at least Opts In, otherwise, no.

on bad teams where he got to whatever he wanted. but i primarily commented on his defense there. when was the last time he played defense?

forget about it. 98% of the people who root for sjax has not seen him play more than 10 whole games in the last 10 years.

Overrated, Hedo >>> SJax at this stage of their careers. Heck, Maggette is playing better than SJax. Maybe, Charlotte knows something we don't.

And I just want to say, this whole situation has become tired some. None of this needs to happen like this. So much false reporting an nobody knows what's going on. Everyone just wants to break a story first. I wish Dwight would just come out and give a definitive answer. I'm pretty sure it would put all this to rest. Anyway, if he doesn't end up on the Nets, I reall hope he stays with you guys. Good luck.
