Name me one good reason Nuggets would trade Afflalo, Chandler and Harrington for Iggy?

Name me one good reason Nuggets would trade Afflalo, Chandler and Harrington for Iggy?

Because he's an upgrade... You don't see those three guys on our national team, do you?

You can give the ball to Iggy at the end of the game. Harrington is 32, Afflalo is a spot up shooter on the offense and Chandler is a good but not great player... Maybe adding a youngster or two would sweeten it for Denver (Ebanks) but Iggy is clearly better than those three guys.

He has progressed every year of his career. He could become a 20 ppg guy in a couple years. I think that's a pretty decent contract for that kind of a player at SG.

Afflalo: Great defender but a spot up shooter
Chandler: good not great player

It's not like I'm saying they are trading Lawson or Gallo. If they got back Iggy, Ebanks and Vucevic, they would do it and laugh to the bank.

Afflalo doesn't have the offensive repertoire to get to 20 ppg. He wouldn't get enough touches either with the way that team is built. He jumped to 15ppg because JR Smith and Chandler were gone. If he averaged 20 ppg it would be because his team sucks and were tanking..... Hmmmm...... Maybe we do want Afflalo......

Aaron Aflalo will be 27 years old before the season begins. Why are people calling him a young SG who will continue to develop over the next couple of years? He is a nice player, but lets keep some perspective.

My point being that if the guy puts up mid to high teen's PPG numbers...and he is a decent defender, it's not like $7mil/yr is CRAZY. Everybody wants Iggy and he makes $15mil/yr and put up 12-6-5.5 last year. You don't hear everybody ranting and raving about that do you?

Because he doesn't have many NBA minutes under his belt (not a lot of wear-and-tear), has improved every single year, and 27 is still pretty young....what perspective people need to get is that you don't have to be 22 to be useful/productive in the NBA. Where in the hell did this all come from? Kobe was winning championships into his 30s, so was MJ, so was Shaq, so was Duncan, so was Wade.....I mean just stop.
