@spree8, sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do and the way the draft is going so unpredictably you likely did the right thing.

You may miss out on another player but small price to pay.

Agreed...especially when West was still there. I still have two players left on my board that are in my Top 20. Hoping one falls to 35.

I'd be interested in moving up if anyone is looking to move back.

I wanted Cp3 and the way this draft is going theres no telling if he'd be gone by the time I pick later. Also, in terms of efficiency and prime/peak #'s Cp3 produces better #'s than a lot of the legendary pgs out there. The dude has never really had the luxury of playing with a top player. X is not championship material IMO.

NAME DROP MUCH.

My bad, literally just got back from being out under anesthesia...amnesia is a side effect lol.

We are also very interested in moving up hit me up at womble.4@buckeyemail.osu.edu
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

I Agree. Chris Paul does maybe not have as long career as other alltime greats but when he is healthy and at his best then I think he close to be the best pointguard ever other than Magic and he is probably going to have long career anyway

kind of same with Durant. Even though his career is short and he has probably not hit his peak yet, his number compared to other alltime greats is one of the best

Why are guys acting surprised by the amount of high caliber talent left on the board, there are and were alot of great players in the NBA.

Only difference is some were stars, some were superstars, some were elite, with only a handful having the potential to be or became legendary.

I just hope guys don't get too much caught up in the name brand of players and look at players skills, talent, and fit than anything.

Personality of players as well imo

I really like the Chris Paul pick. No knocks from me when it comes down to grading.

I didn't know if Zo would make it to me and I considered others, but when it came down to it, I couldn't pass him up. Zo in his prime was amazing. Post offense, midrange game, defense, rebounding, tenacity, high character and Champion to boot. He never got pushed around even by Shaq. They had some epic battles.

Thanks bud...but yea, as much as I hated Zo growin up as a Knick fan, I respected the hell out of him. He's the definition of warrior. Theres very few players with that level of intensity, and Kobe being one of them, would love him. With the way elite centers are dropping I can't blame you for scooping him up at all. Just wish I did first  lol

Kobe and Zo would challenge and push each other so much and even though they're both alpha type personalities, their work ethic oncourt and in the weight room would translate well Imo.

Very respectable pairing right there, perfect match.

Make sure you guys are reading up on how things work. I've gone over this topic now, at least, three times.

As long as a player made an All Star appearance from 1970, all of their years of play are taken in to consideration. Including time in the ABA & overseas...even though those outside leagues don't mean nearly as much as the NBA.

Definitely been an interesting draft so far.

21 of my top 22 have been selected.

Four players I had ranked 60 or lower have been taken.

so in essence you can Judge said Players by there prime if they atleast played in 1 allstar game from 1970 to now

well i assumed it meant the start of the 1970-1971 season where he played like 2 games, but technically he did make a all star game in 1969-1970 so if so, thats a good pick at that point.

That 1970 All Star yr eliminated one of the most integral players in all of NBA history.

What was the idea behind the 1970 date if you don't mind me asking considering ABA and overseas career achievements can be taken into account though you stated it may likely not be as meaningful as the NBA achievements cause that date effectively got rid of perhaps the games ultimate achiever?

also i wish we had more people because the #1 pick really is at an advantage with not having to wait as long between picks, michael jordan and 2 elite players at 40/41 instead of 50/51

but thats not anybodys fault, just saying ;P
