I like Luke. I don't think the other two have much to offer to Payton, and the other players.

I also like Blake, but doubt he comes here to be 3rd string.

I'd agree with you there. Luke would be my first option.

This may not be popular, but I think we need to find a guy who's a starter now, who can transfer to a bench role.

For point guard, that is.

That probably won't bother me as much as Dante Exum coming out like gangbusters. I'm mentally preparing myself for it.

I really like Dante Exum as a player/person but I hope hes a huge bust

I wouldn't be able to live down the fact we passed on him like Hawks with Chris Paul

That won't change anything. If Exum becomes a star, then lets hope Gordon will be a bigger star. I'm not going to wish anyone busts because they all worked hard to get there; it's basically their life. Hoping someone busts because we passed on them is a **** thing to do. If we made the wrong pick, then we can blame those responsible.

I'm an Aussie so I'm hoping Exum is a huge success.

If he is, I can feel happy knowing I pegged him all along.
If he's a bust, I can be glad Henny is a smarter man than I.

I'm pretty happy with the potential studliness of Gordon and Payton myself. Maybe Utah has a stud in Exum, maybe not. Maybe we have 2 from the same draft. I'll take 2 over 1.

Don't count out Marble. I think he's going to be a better pro than in college and he's a huge two guard.

I like Exum and I like Utah, I hope he does well, its not like it will change anything for us anyway, I would rather hope that both he and Gordon do well rather than both suck and we get to say we chose the lesser of 2 bad options.

I don't agree that we're the Bucks, but I honestly agree. I have absolutely ZERO idea what we are doing. I like the Payton pick up, but every other thing we've done this offseason has been a joke.

Drafting a RAW Aaron Gordon when we're getting ready to make a playoff push,
Claiming Willie Green, who in their right mind even signs Willie Green,
Signing Ben Gordon, I'm not as mad about this move, but if I remember correctly, Ben Gordon is a locker room douche,
Signing Channing Frye to a THIRTY TWO MILLION DOLLAR DEAL OVER FOUR, and I repeat, FOUR YEARS TO A THIRTY ONE YEAR OLD POWER FORWARD!

I honestly am perplexed because I thought we were going to be smart about how we use our assets.

I'm REALLY hoping Hennigan is right about all this, because if we don't make the playoffs this year, I'm on board with ousting him and his little poet of a coach.

My god why is it so hard to give henny JUST A LITTLE benefit of the doubt. You people have unrealistic expectations. What did u guys expect? That we would sign Lebron or Melo? Maybe trade all our assets for one year of Kevin Love?

Just to clarify what exactly mistakes have been made by Henny to justifying ur demand of playoffs or ur fired? And no you cant use anything from this summer as a mistake because we dont know its a mistake. You all ripped him when we traded Dwight. 2 year later we have a potential top 5 center(Vuc) two very talented young players (Fournier and Harkless) and a lottery pick in the most stocked draft in 20 years that turned into a extrmely talented PG. How about the JJ trade? You all ripped him for that and then once you actually saw Harris all of you put your foot in your mouth. Another example Oladipo drafted last year. All you people wanted Mclemore, Noel, or Burke LOL ok. Why cant we just accept that Henny knows way more than we could ever know because we didnt work in the Spurs front office we didnt work in OKC's front office. Be patient lets see what his plan turns into or i promise you will look stupid
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

to be fair, we could've had Exum and Saric, who also could have been 2 studs. and with having signed Frye, having Saric OS for a couple years wouldn't be too bad a thing.

that said, I'm thinking we're gonna see comparable performance from our number 10 pick as Utah see from the #5, so I'm not too worried.

I thought he seemed kinda small for a PF too.

Rodman was like a 6'7" SF coming into the league and grew into a PF position as it took a good 3 years. If Gordon can become a defensive powerhouse, then I have the patience.

not sayin the dude isn't going to get bigger, he just looks small compared to the massive dudes I think of at the PF spot, not his height so much as his frame is small. I'm sure he will his the gym and bulk up.

If Gordon is a 3 going forward, what happens to Harkless? Do we bury our 4 pick on the bench as the 3rd SF? That doesnt help his growth.

I'm not as concerned about it now after seeing how well Payton is playing and Gordon has shown enough.

few things.

Harkless - i would not call him "very talented" yet. shows promise? yes. improving? yes. But he hasnt really done anything to distinguish himself. still goes thru a lot games with zero stats or impact to show for it.

Fournier - another player that the jury is out on whether he is "very talented". It is looking more and more like he is the starting SG, so we will find out more about him this year.

Vucci - love Vucci, think he is underrated by non-Magic fans. But he would be lucky to be called a top-15 center right now (if you include a few PF's that are playing Center). And unless he makes some big-time gains on the defensive side, he isnt going to be a top-5 center.

I would be careful there. Danny Ferry worked in the Spurs front office too and look at the team he put together around Lebron in Cleveland.

Vuc is most certainly a top 10 center right now, true center that is. Plus the numbers say that defensively vuc is solid so I'm not sure he needs to make "big time gains" on the defensive side. All he needs is just a decent improvement and he'll be fine. Don't understand how people can think vuc is a bad defender.
