He’s the new Jeff Green unless he can do this for 2 seasons in a row.

The talent was always there. Just like Jabari. What’s hard to judge is the players love for the game and how they will be utilized.

Jabari was actually solid from start. He just blew up ACL.
Twice.

Wiggins always had all the tools in the world to be star player. That's why his draft comp was Kobe/Lebron.
But never had drive and desire to improve his body , shot selection and expend his game.

This year he is more engaged.

His stats this year are allstar- level stats.
26 ppg
5 rpg
3,6 apg
1,1 bpg
0,7spg
53,5% eFG

There is really no way we miss the playoffs this year. Not only are the teams after the top 6 so bad, but all have so many key injuries / suspensions & we are lucky again so far. If y'all like it or not, even with 38 wins, we gonna make the playoffs.

This is a jinx post if I've ever seen it though :o

Any injury to Vuc/Isaac would be pretty bad for us this year.

But i agree with GW09, East has 6 good/solid/great teams. But like 7 teams that are rock bottom.

Lakers are still only team in nba that can literally trip opponents in last plays and don't even get review of a situation for a last shot

So I know Curry is saying he's coming back this year, but at this point if they are completely out of it, they could conceivable come back next year with Curry, Klay, Dray, Wiseman and Russell or another very good player from a trade. That's potentially like the Spurs adding Duncan after Robinson was injured for a year.

Nothing personal against Melo but I really hate his game.

Yet, I have declared Portland the team I’m rooting for in the west so this is a tough one for me. I guess him doing well means his team unfriendly playing style is behind him, he has accepted a different role and Portland benefits. Guess I can’t be upset with that.

I mean, Dwight seems to be pulling that off in LA ...

I still think Russell for AG (+ filler) would make sense for them.

You could play AG at the SF without really asking him to be an offensive SF. Just guard their forwards alongside Green and be ready to cut and finish with the ball coming from their guards.

Steph
Klay
AG
Green
Wiseman

... could be scary stuff

I'm to the point where the filler could be Bamba :o

Russell has been a horrible defender this year with GSW, but I think it's possible the Magic's overall team defense could help cover that up. Plus his offense has been so good last year and this year that it makes up for it.

Fultz-Russell-Fournier-Isaac-Vucevic
Augustin-Ross-Aminu-Birch

Some question marks defensively, but a lot of firepower offensively in that starting lineup.

When you look at close losses despite HORRIFIC offensive performances it is clear we can stand to give up a little on defense if it nets us a true go-to #1 scorer.

I might be in the minority, but from what I've seen from Fultz, I really want to keep Fultz/JI/AG together. With the way AG can cut, those three could be fantastic together. AG can make some nice plays but he has tried to be the primary playmaker too often this season. Him cutting without the ball is more valuable. But if there is an offer of Russell for AG/Bamba, that is tough to turn down. Even though I'm not sure how a Fultz/Russell backcourt works as they both need the ball, that would give us a young team that would compete in the east for years to come. Right now, I don't trade AG unless we get a legit all star in return. Other wise I think it's best to dangle Fournier/Bamba and change and see if that can get us a decent upgrade somewhere.
