If Sengun had Pau’s size and length (7’0”/7’5”), I’d consider him with the Magic’s first pick and not just the Bulls pick :o :o :o

For(now) me, its a Cade/Suggs/Green with a Wagner/Zaire draft with/without 2nd round of Hurt/Petrusev/Garza/Huff would be ny perfect one.

I watched him during some Eurobasket 2022 qualifications and i was super unimpressed. He was so easly abused in pick&roll and struggled to cover guards but also happend to be awful at guarding centers in post due lack of strenght & size.

virtually first play of a game you have him eating pumpfake.
0:20 him losing 260 pounds center in transition, again reach for ball, allowed dunk
3:36 there is 3 sec on the clock, he still allows player to turn favorable shoulder
4:02 good example of him trying to trap player, than just dissingages himself from rest of a play and watches
4:18 allows deep post up easly, allow player to wrap him around on backdoor

He played much better against Sweeden because they didn't get physical but against Croatia and our cubby stiff centers he was terrible.

btw this is terrible level of competition, no Euroleague nor nba players allowed. Basically random nobodies on unimportant euro clubs only play.

Croatian starting PF & C combined for 47 of 70-ish points, and Sengun had like 9 points but team was outscored by 19 when he played and as you can see, he didn't help defense nor offense.

His stats in Turkish league look very good, but context is needed, his team doesn't play Euroleague , most of highlights come from nacional team playing this godawful qualifications where nobody good can play.

I mean, that's the dream isn't it? To be that good that you can look like that and still be one of the best players in the world

I have a feeling that a few things will happen ...

1) Orlando ends up with the #2 overall pick
2) Cade goes #1 overall
3) We look at Fultz-Cole-RJ and say our backcourt is set
4) We select Evan Mobley

i dont care what pick we have, if Green is available when we pick and we pass, i might break something near me!
I wouldnt be to livid if we got #1 and took cade over green, but any other pick and i might need a new tv

What would people think about in this scenario

We get #2 and 8....
Take green at 2
then Kuminga falls to 5 where the warriors (minn pick) are picking and they call and offer us kuminga for 8 and either cole or RJ.....What would you do?

I would do it.

There just isn’t enough room for Green + Cole + RJ with Fultz coming back ... even under the known assumption that his health is always an issue.

It seems some are low on Kuminga but I am higher on him than others and definitely higher on him than anyone we could grab at #8.

If we get #2 anf assume Cade is gone so we pick Green? Im ok with that assuming our FO saw something in both Green and Suggs that made them select Green.

So Kuminga falls to #5 and we giveup 8 for Cole or RJ? Sorry thats a big pass for me. Im not that high on Kuminga in the first place. Another PF? And we give up one of Cole/RJ for that? Id rather roll the dice on the many wings available.in the #8 spot

I don't see the interest in Kuminga. Sounds like his draft status is all about potential.
I'm not real big on "potential". Not in the top 15 of the draft anyhow.

see im not big on kuminga at all, but i think if youre looking at the draft in set of tiers, id say theres a clear cut top 5 and kuminga is 5th there and i personally see him as a 3/4 Tweener, and really if you think of Okeke as a PF (i dont), then we literally dont have a starting caliber SF on the roster, and if you do think of okeke as a SF, we dont have any depth behind our "franchise player" who happens to be the most fragile player in the NBA

The reason i propose that idea is that if we do infact get green ( ), that would leave us with
Fultz | Cole | RJ
Green | Harris| Ross | RJ

Personally id much rather trade away ross and\or harris, but if the warriors are looking to rebuild, they will want a younger G

Kuminga is 3rd out of the top 5 for me, only taking Cade and Green over him.

When did Isaac get his "official" position title changed from Small Forward to Power Forward?
It was SF when he entered the league but I just noticed he's listed as a PF on all the major sites now.
Do we think he's going to be the starting power forward next year?

I know he's played both spots a lot but thought SF was going to be it for him going forward.

Because he’s 6’11 and AG is no longer in Orlando. Okeke is also more likely a SF than a PF.

I dont know why people are so high on Green and Kuminga. Green i understand more becouse he is a freak athlete but there is almost no good role for him on a contender. He better work on his 3 pointer. He can have great stats and even be all star but right now his game doesnt contribute to winning that much. ( obviously can develop).
Kuminga feels like Gordon with better handle but worse defense. He is not even in tier 2 of the draft for me.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !
