Ingles is a smart dude. Underrated playmaker.

Joe Ingles should be able to give us 18-24 valuable minutes per night.

Such a smart player. Does good things even when he’s not putting up huge stats.

A great secondary ball handler who makes the right pass and should serve as a great stabilizing presence for a young team.

This is why he was a great addition. A veteran glue player that should help our young guys.

No doubt that Jingles will play a lot. Too good not to.

He’s chippy and a trash talker too, which makes him even more fun. He’s the sort to set a hard screen when it’s needed and nobody else will. Him and Moe Wagner are really gonna make some other teams mad.

Off topic - Josh Green has been the perfect off-ball guy next to Giddey. Just knows how to get open and Giddey always hits him. His defense is strong too. He’s one to watch as a good role player down the line.

2. Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, Magic
Not one, but two damn-near seven-footers, one 21 years old and the other 22, who both register north of Cleaning The Glass's 80th percentile on the same team? Orlando hit the jackpot. As a duo, these guys averaged over 38 points per game last season, and they haven't even scratched the surface of their potential, individually or as a tandem.

Wagner, unfortunately, remains one of the best players that too many people don't know enough about. His scoring footwork alone is worth swooning over, but he does it all, on both ends (I've talked to coaches who have raved about some of the stuff Wagner does defensively). He's going to be north of a 38% 3-point guy, on good volume, moving forward, I believe.

Wagner is a natural fit as a more creative-minded secondary scorer next to a potential future scoring champ in Banchero, who last season became just the fourth rookie this century to average at least 20 points, five rebounds and three assists, joining LeBron James, Blake Griffin and Luka Doncic.

Orlando made a franchise-changing call taking Banchero No. 1 overall in 2022 when that wasn't regarded as the consensus pick, and getting the pick that became Wagner in the Nikola Vucevic deal with Chicago was a godsend.

Just watched usa vs greece,my gosh have to repeat myself,Banchero as C at fiba level, with more experience, would be a cheat code.

rules seems to be taylor made for him on D,on offense he is not used enough because of the strange situation you have on usa team by default, but he basically has eveything you need and much more.

btw team usa easy winner of the tournament for me,beacause basically hali-reaves-banchero from the bench against opposite second units is a massacre for everyone

He has been rough with his free throws this tournament. He’s been hot and cold.

The only thing stopping him from Top 10 player contention is his jump shot. If he ever gets that figured out, it’s over. He would unlock 6’10 Melo. Will be a rough night for anyone guarding that.

I keep tempering my expectations next year due to the possibility of sophomore slump. If we get roughly the same efficiency with more engagement on defense, I'd call that a win. There are still a ton of mouths to feed with the young team, so he's not going to score 30.

Paolo has been playing great, I'm very pleased with his play on both sides but especially defense. He showed flashes last seasons to suggest he can be a plus defender, he's showing more consistency so far. He just needs to keep improving especially on his team defense

Offensively he's been playing great, and I'm happy Team USA chose to start Hart in place of Ingram instead of Paolo, because Paolo's chemistry with Halliburton has been special.

Can somebody bother to explain why Noah Lyles statement is controversial or even debatable?

Popovich said exect same thing back in 2010.

It's easily debatable.

NBA has all the best player of the world.. you can say there's guys overseas who can make teams like Vezenkov and Micic and Mirotic, but they usually come over and are just serviceable guys but when they go back to Euroleague they're the better players, same with guys who can't make 15 man rosters or get waived here and become top scorers for their teams overseas.

On a technicality, sure, you can say Nuggets can't claim to be world champions without beating the winners of top leagues across the globe.. but put all of them in a FIBA style tournament and Nuggets are beating teams by 40+ night in and night out
