Paolo has a terrible release on his shot. He releases on his way down.

Done watching. CHA just throwing the ball in the air and it goes in. Guys played like ish tonight but you aren’t outshooting what is probably CHA best shooting night in 5 seasons.

This is the worst loss of the season and could be a costly one

Put in Suggs the exact moment your chances of winning are sub 1%, sure why not...

Paolo is inefficient and kills the offense. Yeah I said it.

We allowed them to get comfortable by playing lazy defense. Lazy offense too, it was a lazy effort overall. Magic felt home they could turn it up whenever against bad teams, doesn’t always work. Just bad effort from the get go.

When Isaac can't go, Goga should be in the rotation and we go big

Offense aside, our defense killed us.

Gotta just pretend we lost the NO game and won the Charlotte one.

Makes the CHI-HOU games MUST wins to feel comfortable.

Franz is whole hell of a lot closer to being an acceptable No. 2 than Paolo is to being an acceptable No. 1.

Care to substantiate why?

Paolo is nowhere close to being efficient enough to justify his current usage.

I'm not suggesting he can't get there or will never get there, but when your 29 USG% is a .549 TS% player, you're not going to have a good offense.

Oh, I absolutely agree, but he seems to be more complete package offensively comparing to Franz who's higher TS% comes from taking only shots around the basket. I am not concerned (yet) that Paolo doesn't have in him a gear or two more.

If you are suggesting we should be bringing in a veteran 1st option this offseason, I am all in.

It’s not. The Magic just have not tried very hard tonight.

They were trying in the second half, they simply couldn't stop them.

Like for all the stuff we say about the Magic lacking shooters and all that, that's all true, but the biggest issue offensively by a wide margin is the fact that Paolo is just wildly inefficient offensively.

Until he upticks that, they just won't be good offensively.

I get that we lost, I'm still not understanding why we don't have Goga and AB in especially if Isaac is out and Franz is in foul trouble. I don't get it sometimes.
