I called to start the tank a couple of weeks ago and was yelled at. I’m tired of being right and I’m sick of this franchise making me seem like Cassandra instead of an overly-negative fan. But this is the Tragic, and dis be wut they do.

This post is so confusing. Why would the Magic Tank? lol. They have no shot at the pick and another rookie is not going to help this team. The magic will likely the make the playoffs.

Anyway, they have long, long odds against getting Flagg even if they end up in the lottery. But he’s far from
the only guy who could help. This roster needs to be churned, and the doomsday scenario is this group farting into the playoffs after a play-in game and losing a mildly competitive first round series.

Because then all’s well, full steam ahead, plan’s working. The roster and FO need a housecleaning. Painfully obvious. Makes no sense - at all - to root for this team to run it back next year.

Being completely serious, I don't actually believe we're as horrendous shooting the ball as we have shown this season. I don't think we're good, but what we've done this season is an aberration.

I believe the shooting issue is in their heads at this point and there is no collective confidence whatsoever in making shots. and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

You are what you are at this point. Players that can shot wouldn’t let it get that way.

They just lost at home by 40. Sometimes you start the tank; sometimes the tank takes matters into its own hands.

How is tanking a viable option at this point? They will have to leapfrog half the league to make it work.

If people look at this game and say Paolo is the problem, they aren't watching.

He wasn't the problem in this game, but he's absolutely been the biggest problem in a LOT of games since he returned.

But hopefully the further removed he gets from the oblique deal the more he'll start to settle in and just play better frankly.

This summer is critical to the front office. They have painted themselves in to a corner it’s their job to fix this.

Now, this is the part where they make an extremely high risk move that compromises our future to try to save their jobs.

Unfortunately this is probably true. Honestly I don’t know what they can even do. The WCJ extension looks to be a kick in the balls. That guy doesn’t even look like an NBA player. KCP probably not worth trading. Salary wise we aren’t looking good at all. I just can’t believe how different trajectory Cavs and Magic are on 10 months ago we took them to 7 games and now we are crashing and burning.

Again... they already have 29 wins.

Even if they blatantly tanked the rest of the season, they're still going to win at least 7-8 more times given who they still play (aka other tankers) at home.

35 wins isn't getting you anything but like the 12th or 13th pick.

Might as well see if you can get hot and win the play in instead of doing that.

Another rookie is not what this team needs, lol. The magic will not fall in the top 10 to get a rookie that will help immediately. And even then, you will need the rookie to develop as well. They are still awaiting Black and Jett to develop for God sakes. Tanking just makes no sense.

He’s too scared to make the wrong move. He’d rather sit still make the easy decisions and hope something magical happens.

He thought teams asked a lot during the deadline, holyyy **** we’re going to be screwed during the summer

This is why I don't understand why he stood pat, I've said it before it doesn't get easier if you wait. It just gets tricker and unpredictable, and if you felt you were getting squeezed before why would that change in the off season?

I do agree he has been a problem in many games since his return. But I think when he gets healthy, and they build a proper team around him, with a PG and shooters, he should be fine.

Yea this isn’t on Mose. The guy was always a defensive coach so to expect him to be some offensive genius isn’t realistic. Also not sure any coach can fix our offense. Though he looks like he is floundering because he doesn’t know what to do which is not a great look but I am sure he is frustrated with the same things we are.

We do understand that this is not 1990s. Everyone on the court should be able to handle the ball and make plays these days.

I watch all these teams like the Cavs, Celtics, Thunder, Grizzlies that have players nobody heard of that fit into their scheme and are productive.
