harper is trying to be a small forward, and is even going to be on our roster this season?

If people haven't noticed, I am a fan of Hedo. I did go to many games and he goes all out much of the time. But, he just doesn't go all out for all 48 minutes. It is like he exerts himself soo much that gets winded then loses focus. Hopefully, he comes to play this season in excellent shape. You had the perfect synopsis when you said he is Unique and is a big mismatch for a number of teams.

I'd say give Harper a shot....saw some good things in summer league....plus i think we didn't get to see him play last season and it wasn't because he wasn't good enough....it was the SVG "Veterans" plan than kept him on the bench....we'll see what happens....personally with Harkless sidelined for a while i would suspect Harper to get consistent minutes behind Hedo.....

Drew has a nifty little skill set that could get you points in ways that you had not previously, thats why I would put him above Harper. Obviously the guy has to get out and play against starting caliber NBA players and do well before he gets any praise beyond that. Haper had a year of NBA basketball but Drew still looked better in summer league, that says something . If it comes down to one of these guys staying, I think it's pretty obvious who would stay.

Nothing is obvious in professional sports unless it pertains to the product making money.

Like i said before when i see Nicholson i think Hakeem.....i mean the way Drew plays in the post you don't see that in the NBA these days.....Has an old school feel to his game that i believe will translate as soon as he gets his bearings in the NBA....Drew has to bulk up and get some more definition on his body but at the same time Hakeem wasn't a hulking guy either...in fact i think Drew and Hakeem has similar dimensions in terms of height and weight but don't quote me on that.....I can't wait to see him to be honest....Can't lie i wanted PJ3 but make no mistake i'm happy we picked Drew....time will tell if we made the right decision...

I would put Nicholson below Harper, Harrington and McRob.
On the Center action, I would put BBD above Ayon and Quinn.

If you want a ranking of all bigs:

BBD
Harrington
McRob
Ayon
Harper
Nicholson
Quinn

You forgot about Vucevic, who has a legitimate shot at the starting Center spot.

the more i see of him the more i think Hakeem....his footwork is CRAZY good....pulled a few moves that all i could do is shake my head......he'll probably never be the player Hakeem was but for me personally i think the skillset is similar except Drew has more range....we'll see if we got it right with this kid....

i dont see hakeem, but watching the first few minutes of nicholson's video it reminded me of a skinny non powerful bynum in the post  , which isnt bad

they have the same little hitch in their shooting form too

Im not surprised Turk is getting into better shape, he is up for what is probably his last "big" contract.

Extremely OT,

I didn't want to start a a new thread just for the sake of this, but I would like some honest opinions. As you all know, ESPN just finished ranking players in the NBA. I'm having a debate with a friend of mine over who the better players is today, CP3 or D-Wade.

Can I get some thoughts?

Hakeem is the best post player I ever saw and would love to see Drew get that smooth and incredible, we will see on that part but everything else is exactly the way I see it.

Per @MarkDeeksNBA, Magic used part of their MLE to sign Kyle O'Quinn. Hm. (Link in my last RT)

Not that the MLE matters anymore, but really? Cant we sign him without even using the MLE?

Seriously. How does a late 2nd round pick rookie with zero experience not get the minimum?
