My team:
PG K. Lowry, T. Lawson, G. Hill, T. Burke
SG K. Thompson, E. Gordon, J. Meeks
SF O. Porter, R. Hood, C. Budinger
PF L. Aldridge, T. Thompson
C A. Jefferson, J. Noah. A. Len

From the other teams I like Magicman123, it has good talent at all the positions with Lillard and the greak freak ready to break out.

If there was a team that I thought stole a lot of good value that others passed up on it would be your team. It's like, I like every one of your players, but I didn't have the readiness to take them when I was OTC, but when you took them, I was like... Good pick!

You were in a good location in the draft to do that. Picking at the end of the rounds, definitely alters things as I either found myself hoping for a guy to fall with one pick and reaching for a guy with my other pick.

Yeah I agree. Close to the turn you do tend to get good value and you don't have to guess as much waiting for players your targeting.

My team is in my sig, for future reference, but here it is. There were a few guys I missed out on in the draft, so I'd definitely be open to trades for them.

C - G.Monroe/Nurkic/J.Hill/Dedmon
PF - K.A.Towns/A.Gordon
SF - P.George/E.Fournier/D.McDermott
SG - J.Butler/N.Stauskas/J.Lamb
PG - E.Payton/D.Rose/J.Calderon

Thanks, everyone did a good job of moving the draft along and following instructions about emailing the next guy. That was the biggest factor, imo.

Nice last pick! I was kinda hoping to pluck Dedmon off wire if he started to seem like more PT would be coming his way. I just couldn't justify drafting him. My heart dropped a little when you took AG, but he wasn't one of my targets at the time. Love the McDermott pick as a sleeper steal. Sucks about Rose. I had a strong feeling that he was going to be hurt this year again, but I didn't expect it so soon. Your starters are all very solid, but I don't have the highest confidence in your depth. I would agree with your boom or bust projection.

How's the Skin Ranking shaping up?

I'm thinking the strong teams, just from the ol' Eye Test, are:

HoraceGrant
Edrock
magicfan4life
stick

they look like the top contenders for 2nd place, to me.

I'll let you know when I get home. I based it off of ESPN's projections this time, so we'll see. Probably not the best gauge, but it was something. Early on Edrock and MF4L were killing it, and then they tapered off. Probably means they have strong starters.

Feeling very disrespected right now. I'll be tweeting a screenshot of this post to all my guys, and expect them to use it as motivation all season long. If Anthony Davis doesn't get pissed off by people doubting his fantasy credentials, then I don't know what to say.

I think I got psyched because it looks like you punted Assists. Strong in Blocks, rebounds, 3's and steals though. Didn't sacrifice much in FT% with your bigs, or FG% with your 3pt shooters. So yeah, maybe you're more competitive than I figured. We'll see.

It's very boom or bust right now. But there will be movement as the season gets into gear, that's for sure.

I'll be charging a premium for any trades involving Magic players, though. :)

Stick got the guy I wanted most of all towards the end of the draft - O'Quinn! I kept leaving him thinking nobody would think about him. But I think he'll get solid minutes regardless of KP's performance or injury to Lopez. But O'Quinn is fantasy gold numbers wise. Blocks, rebounds, assists, steals, good FG%, great FT% for a big man. He's a stud waiting to explode.

Hah, that was pretty much my strategy. I decided after I picked Davis that I would basically ignore assists when evaluating players. If I win that category once I will be surprised. But I should be competitive most weeks almost everywhere else.

I'm just sad we now have to wait 3 1/2 weeks for the season to start. Got Tarheel in my sights.

I was the same with O'Quinn. I was planning on leaving him for my last couple of selections, and thought he would probably slip that far because his disappointing season with us was fresh in everyone's mind. But NYK signed him to a long-term deal for a reason. I'm expecting he'll have a breakout season there.

Just so I'm clear on what dsg is referring to, is he basically talking about the matchups from weeks 14-19? I.e from weeks 1-13 we will still play each opponent one time, and then rather than weeks 14-19 directly repeating weeks 1-6, the six teams we play in those weeks will be randomized?

One thing I just noticed that does need changing is the waiver wire order.

My roster is incorrect, I selected Anthony Davis in the 15th round.

I think it randomizes it like that, but it could be completely random too. I know when I did it as Commish last year, it still didn't let anyone play the same person more than 1-2 times either. That way the the schedule is not influenced by draft order.

Has our schedule been influenced by draft order? Looking at mine, if we were to seed people 1-14 based on the draft, my schedule doesn't seem to follow a particular order or pattern.

Either way, as long as everyone plays everyone else at least once and no more than twice I am on board. If GMs would like the setting on random, I have no objection.

MKG going down with a dislocated shoulder is bad for him.... but makes that Jeremy Lamb pick look much better!

16 points, 2x 3pm, 50% shooting and 4 rebounds in 22 minutes. Promising start for him in Charlotte!
