I really wish the boys got that win man....
Obviously we win this game with Paolo or Franz...
But we also win this game with Isaac. We win this game with an upgrade over Cole Anthony. We win that game with a healthy Goga, he was clearly limited.
They played hard, but there was still some mistakes. That Dame lay-up at the end was just awful execution and we have to make ft's. That "goaltend" on Suggs in first half hurt a lot too.
I always remember Wendell playing good defense on Giannis, he did a great job. Couldve used bigger minutes from him.
I really want to trade Cole, but also worry how locker room will react. He is most beloved and really is a top tier human being. I dont know, but we can really use someone better.
Anyway, I love this team!!!

These guys are grown men getting paid millions of dollars. I wouldn’t worry about how they react to trading a guy that continues to hinder their chances on winning. I would expect the opposite if anything

The players know Cole has been given many opportunities to gain his spot back on the court and in the rotation. They will understand when we move on from him.
For Cole’s sake, a change of scenery may be what gets him back on track. I wish nothing but the best.
He isn’t going to be easy to trade so he may stay until his contract is up.
How many guards have the Magic drafted and added after we drafted Cole? Seems like the writing has been on the wall.

100%
Cole himself would understand if we traded him. He openly talks about how bad he has played. Coach still calls his number to try and get something out of him. He just fails to deliver a majority of the time. Unless there is an unforeseen turnaround, his time here is nearly up.

I second that, I doubt they'll care they seemed to have moved on pretty easily from Fultz and Joe when last year they spoke highly of both.

Of course they'll care, but they also know the business.

Players and coaching stuff and fans can be proud on what team showed. Two key players down, on a road ( tbh in very quiet and family-friendly arena ) against solid team with one of 3 best players in the world, we played very close game and had opportunity to even win game, or at least force OT.
From Bucks POV, they have to get rid of Lopez and Middelton and add some fresh legs. Middelton looks like he WWII vet trying to catch up with grand grandkids, Lopez aged 5 years in last 5 months. Lillard looks great this year, Giannis is top 2-3 on my MVP list, it's time for them to shuffle rest of roster.

This and we cant sit on our hands for too much longer in trading Cole/Harris and picks for a competent NBA shooter/guard. We have that on bench tonight and we win this game
There is no team in the league who would trade for Cole. If hes in a deal, hes a negative asset and would mean we get less in return.

He is an expiring contract next season. He would be in a deal solely to help match the salary coming back. Of course we would need to add positive value (like picks) to get back someone back that would be an upgrade.

Time goes by fast. I remember few years ago Cole's "im a starter in this league" comments and here we are now.
On another hand why a 6-1 non shooter TJ McConnell can become a valuable player for the Pacers and Cole can't? Its all about real about yourself and finding a role that helps your team consistently. Cole has a team option on his deal after next season, if not traded before then Magic will probably let him go.

Orlando was in this game mostly because of glass domination. Orlando could not sit Bitadze or Carter for M-Wagner for that simple reason.

Getting 14 rebounds in the NBA is hard. This is something like a wing going for 30 points. It was a very nice double double.

Man, I'm heartbroken for our guys. They fought so hard, I really thought they might pull it off. Bucks should be lucky they've beaten the team without its 2 best players, arguably both top 25 in the league. Let that sink in. If we played with such intensity at full power, Bucks would get blown out. The Magic should be proud (well, not Cole, he should be traded).

No shot perfectly.... But we were like -14 with him on the court. Lol. And once again..... I think Wendell led us in plus or minus again with -14. Yeah..
. Scoring efficiently is great as long as the other team isn't busting your ish in too.

That -14 plus/minus for M-Wagner is indeed odd; as is he negatives for all bench guys.
It's odd as Orlando's bench outscored the Buck's bench 44-37. Strange stat line!

Simple on box score thoughts, as it is the most obvious thing I have ever posted:
Orlando lost the FG% battle and lost the game.
Actually, the only reason this was not a blow-out given how horrible Orlando's shooting was, was that the Magic had 16 more FGA
That was because the Magic dominated both rebounding differential and TO differential. So taht's good, at least.
Look: if the Magic can play defense and rebound, they will be in most games. And there will be some odd wins with player-X getting hot on a given night.
At least this game proves that the Magic is not the Wiz 2.0. It looks a lot like Heart and Hustle 2.0.
Banchero should be back in 2-3 weeks, so the Magic just need to try to win 3-4 games to close out the year, and everything will be fine.
