If we didn't deserve to win the game, and Houston only wins by 2 points, then how the HELL does Houston deserve to win it? This kind of logic is idiotic. The score at the end of the game doesn't measure effort, if we suck and we can still win it, then we still deserve the win more than the other team, who is obviously sucking worse than we are.

They didn't deserve to win the way they did win, but they still won. They owned us for 44 minutes, and the last four minutes were ruined by the refs.

No one deserved to win this game because of the way the refs blew it on both sides.

We play Sacramento next. No excuse for refs to give THEM respect over us.

11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

You know something, the "we didn't deserve to win" statement is such a bunch of crap. THE GAME IS 48 MINUTES. And the last 6 minutes are part of those 48 minutes. If the game was 42 minutes, THEN the Magic wouldn't deserve to win. Not every game is won staying in front of the opponent the whole time.

Agree wholeheartedly.

Its a 50:50 call. Too close to decide but...

That's 2 points for the Rocket and a foul on Yao. Take it like a man, guys.

lol.

Like there was no other call throughout the course of the game that robbed the Magic of 2 points.

All those charge calls? Not all were charges.

And Dwight did foul out, after all.

So no, that's not a justification at all. Your team won because the refs had money on you. Take it like a man.

That was a terrible call, but it did not decide the game. :noway:

From the ESPN recap, this is a bit worrying:
"But the officials may not have ever signaled a call. They conferred for several minutes, then called the bucket off. Saying it was a judgment call, not a rules interpretation, the officiating crew declined an interview request from the pool reporter, as league rules allow.

Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said he tried, unsuccessfully, to contact league officials immediately after the game."

You'd think, given a fair decision, that the refereeing crew would be happy to speak to the home team coach and explain the decision. Hmm.

As I said in the General NBA thread:

PS i wouldn't go as far as to say the refs had bet money on anyone in this game, both teams got their fair shares of really bad calls.

It's just frustrating because the NBA is just going to ignore it, no matter what happens, and life will go on. We're fu**ed no matter what. It will be a quick little shot on Sportscenter, and then they'll move on to a Tom Brady segment and everyone will forget that it ever happened.

Unfortunately, I couldn't see the game MF3 but I'd recommend anyone who did to do this, and email the media as well.
