This would kill our chances of trading Jrich, we need to send Jrich to Minn.

Kid is going to be like a taller version (little less shoot first with a better jumper) of Allen Iverson (not as fga dominant) if the right team grabs him and lets him have the ball in his hands an develop imo.

I have no idea how so few people see this kids insane total skillset. Yes he needs to be a little more refined but his ball handling, ability to get looks off and elite quickness with the ball is absolutely at an elite level.

If I could choose that Orlando gains either Rivers or Marshall, this would for me easily be Marshall.

Classic prototype PG vs. combo guard: for me this is not a choice.

I wanted Howard in the draft out of him and Okafor, but the player I wanted more then anything was actually Shaun Livingston who ford says has the most potential in the draft. I loved watching him play in high school and when he said he was gonna go to Duke (my team) I was ecstatic but then he entered the draft.

Another player where you wonder "what if"

@DavidBaumann: "Interviewed @austinrivers25 today.
I asked if he a 1 or a 2. Rivers: "I think I'm both. I think i can do whatever a team needs me to be."

I 100% agree with him. There he has the ballhandling, passing, vision, unstopable penetrating and scoring ability and skillset to switch back and forth depending on what the moment calls for.

That is what seperates the truely elite players from the good/solid ones. Marshall does not have that ability.

Would love to trade up for Rivers and groom to play PG. He can easily do it and he has the dad to make it happen.

Shaun Livingston
PG | 6-7, 186 | Peoria (Ill.) High School
Why? Again, Livingston has more potential than anyone in the draft. He does things already at his size that no one else can do. Patience will be the key. In the end, ESPN Insider Chad Ford believes the Hawks will be better off with Livingston than Howard in the long run.

Is it not? Can you actually argue that statement or do you at least have some cute GIF's to post instead of actual basketball discussion?

I'd take harkless over tjones. He seems like less of a tweener, more polished defensively, and based on his shooting mechanics looks like he has a better chance at improving his outside shot . Tjones reminds me a little of earl Clark. And he has no mid range game. Harkless also does a better job at slashing to the basket imo.

EDIT: I always thought harkless was a better competitor and just now I read the scouting report on Jones and it says that he loses confidence in himself when he messes up/bad body language. Lol we don't a mentally weak person on this team. I can't stand it when players are like that. Stop pouting and make up for bad plays. I haven't seen much of royce play but from highlights he looks pretty decent.

I think quincy has a shot to be good because of his skill set..but he stinks of over confidence and and a guy that would do minimal work to improve and get by on his physical ability. But I guess at #19 if he's still available (which imo he won't be) you take that chance.

I can see that where Harkless is a better defender and his shooting mechanics do look a whole lot better than Jones. I'm just not so sure about how quickly Harkless will be able to develop because I think he is extremely raw right now. Yes he has some really good defense but his handles are not were they should be as a three in the nba and he doesn't have a consistent jumper either. I do like his defense and ability to slash and I wouldn't mind him on the team just not over some other people.

I wish we could make a move to get another top-20 pick ..

I'd really like to see us draft Kendall Marshall and a SF (Harkless?)

I would love to have one of Houston or Portland's picks in that #11-16 region.
