I know some of you hate jameer for no apparent reason but I hope we keep him. I wish he had split that fool right in the mouth, something we all wish we could do right about now.

I think Dwight just didn't want to miss the playoffs to go sit around in Houston. He figured the team atleast had a long shot and he didn't want to waste one of his prime years. I still think you do the exact same thing.. keep him, play through the year and give him the same ultimatum at playoff time. so what if "offers get worst" (which you can't really say, teams with Cap space will create a market with teams like Lakers to incentivise a s/t). Even if he straight walks, who cares. Take the free $20mil in cap space and be glad.

All this nonsense is because he sees his Nets window closing. let it, and see which teams are left standing. Who's he going to join as a free agent? the bobcats? please. call his bluff.

+1

I've always had a love-hate relationship with Meer. He plays so well at points, then regresses and is a bonehead. I think he gives it his all, and he is a good leader. Can't ask much more from a player. He has the potential to surpass Darrell Armstrong as my favorite player in pinstripes.

I hope we bring him back, particularly after hearing he almost knocked out D-Ho.ward. What "teammates" stopped him from messing up Dwight? Those players should be immediately cut.

Makes me respect him more as a leader, they probably fought because Jameer felt Dwight quit on the team. But I still don't think he a championship caliber PG.

It's not a bluff. But, depending on what assets the team can bring in this off-season, one more run with Dwight Ho-ward is probably better than taking the crap the Magic are being offered, unless the Magic get a really good rebuilding package w/ some good picks and/or a young star.

No, he's probably not. But, without a bona fide star who Dwight can play second fiddle to, the Magic don't have a chance at beating the Heat, Thunder, Bulls, etc. So, might as well have players you respect and enjoy cheering.

@NickAndersonsBack25 - this is OT but I read your sig and must say if only we had Bobby Knight to give Dwight a wake up speech like that a year ago, maybe we would be in a different scenario.

i know not many would but, I am. Dwight should be tarred and feathered if he has turned again.

Nah, he will just (a) make life miserable for everyone else on the team, (b) torture his coach, and (c) eventually just claim injury and spend all his time on PS3.

Better to just trade him for the absolutely best offer possible and make the best of what has become a bad situation.

I still think you have to take the Houston offer if you can, see if they will take

Dwight/JPoor/Duhon for KMarts expiring/Lowry/White/Parsons

we will still be bad enough to be in the lottery next year to grab a stud, have our pg of the future, tons of capspace and a couple young players in White who I think will be a beast and Parsons the Hedo replacement.

saying Nets have nothing to offer and Dwight needs to expand his team options, and Magic need to keep him and not trade and let him sit and get booooooed.

Bianchi was on ESPN Radio and said Orlando should keep Howard through next season instead of trading him to Brooklyn. He say's keeping him in Orlando and allowing him to be boo'd is a better option than taking Lopez.
I like this team

Crazy how quickly someone can go from being the most loved player to one of the most hated.

What happened to this guy? It's like he fell and bumped his head and did a 180.

Wasn't too long ago he was in high school and talking about wanting the cross to be on the NBA logo.

I'm glad Jameer stood up to him and I guess Big Baby either has no clue from what he kept sayin about him sticking around or just had to be politically correct. This guy has single-handedly sabotaged our team. Worst is that he is our all-time leader in so many categories which is gonna take someone else a long time to change.
