The Bucks new owner Edens (the guy with the hot daughter) basically just told fans they want Jabari or Embiid, so I guess you're looking at Wiggins or Exum at #4. I think Embiid is firming up for #1, I never really thought he was in doubt to be honest.

Haven't heard a single peep about anything involving Exum except about two months ago he is in LA working out and attending games and Combine Measurements. That is it. Red Flag there. Afraid of being exposed.
Ok, and what will be your story when he inevitable begins working out for teams?

I think it is very odd. A player with so little game experience and information regarding his abilities thinks he is too good to show people he is for real. Definitely, a red flag.
um that's the advice he's getting from very competent agents, he's a top 5 lock he has nothing to gain from these workouts.
he will do private workouts which is all that he needs to do, your posts on the subject continue to be littered with speculation and opinion, and no facts, hows big baby doing?
So basically, if he isn't the real deal, then he could be hurting himself and his agents could be missing out on a bigger payday if he does work out or show anyone what he has got. Thus, if he is only prepped to say the right things and do the right agility tests in only 2-3 private workouts in such, he can't hurt himself.
Well, at least we know the Big 3 and Smart are not afraid of what anybody sees.

I agree with BadMoFoPimp again.....IMO it's a big red flag that Mr. Adidas/Mr. L.A. does not showcase his
"explosive" life talent....oh, by the way, I'll tell my daughter she can practice piano 2X/week but not compete, or tell my son he can train cross country 7 days/week through H.S. but not compete in the hopes he is seen by colleges...don't want him to do that.
Another thing, and don't bash me by giving a % Body Fat results on Exum.....HE DOES NOT LOOK TONED, CUT, and MUSCULAR to me....he just looks like a tall kid, that's it. Smart is a beast, a durable beast.
Have you watched the defenders in Exum's videos? Looks like they jump off the court a whopping 6" !!
Look's like High Schoolers.

I agree with BMP and MellowRose.....this is a big red flag.
Is he planning on forcing himself to go to L.A.?
If he starts declining private workouts than it's obvious

Exum has not said he will not workout for the Magic. You and BMP are going to look silly if/when his plans to work out for us is made public. If he does decline a workout with us, THEN we can discuss it as fact.

Chad Ford of ESPN posted mix reports last week out of Cleveland. One report claims they are deciding between Embiid and Parker while another source says they have already told Wiggins' camp that he is very much the front-runner.
Also, who really believed Cleveland was going to draft Bennett last year? So I wouldn't be so comfortable locking into a belief on who they will pick.

I wonder why Parker AND Embiid just decided to work out in front of Reporters n analysts but a player like Exum who nobody knows anything about is afraid to show anyone that he is legit.
If I believe I am legit and damn good, I am going show it. Not hide. Nobody has seen Exum since last year.

Here is an interesting read on Dante Exum. I like that they don't just mention the highlights, they also mention where he really struggled. Oddly enough, he struggled against USA and some well known NCAA players.
The reality:
When scouts and general managers talk about Exum as a Top-4 pick, with the talent to wind up perhaps the best player among a generally talented crop of incoming players, it’s worthwhile to note that the assessment is based on a very, very small sample size. Mostly, it is the four games in which Exum lit up the U-19 World Cup tournament in Prague, from July 3-7.
The Bad:
Yes, he was playing fellow teenagers, and sure, the U-19s in that tournament were nothing special. There was also Exum’s lackluster start to the tournament, in which the Boomers struggled and Exum managed a scoring average of 12.4 points, displaying the kind of game that seemed to badly need some NCAA work. The bottom came in a 94-51 loss to the U.S. in which Exum scored seven points in just 11 minutes, committing four turnovers as he was manhandled by the likes of team USA’s Marcus Smart.
The Good:
But then the Australian coaching staff pulled Exum aside. The team was 2-3 and would not make it to the knockout round without beating Russia in the finale of pool play. Exum needed to be more selfish. If his team was going to stick around this tournament, he would have to carry the load.
He scored 20 points with six assists to get past Russia. Then came the game that elevated Exum into the draft’s upper reaches: An 87-76 defeat of top-ranked Spain. Exum was magnificent, scoring 33 points on 9-for-18 shooting, going 12-for-13 at the free-throw line.

Re: The Dante Exum Thread
The article I posted above showcases everything that scares me about Exum. Even the good worries me.
1) We are basing everything off of 4 games in a world 19 and under tournament along with his high school games which barely count as practice considering the level of compeition.
2) He only shined bright in 2 of those 4 games. Those games came against Russia and Spain. Yes, Spain has produced some nice NBA players over the years but there is not one single player from Russia expected to be drafted (1st or second round) this year or next and Spain only has the second round center prospecct Walter Tavares on the NBA radar. I don't know if Tavares was even on the roster that Exum lit up.
3) When he did face well established NBA prospects (like Marcus Smart) he was completely shut down.
... Everyone keeps saying that we aren't drafting the Exum of today we are drafting what Exum could some day be. Clearly I don't have the courage to be an NBA GM because this thought terrifies me.

I think the Magic would be safer drafting Smart/Gordon then just trade for Anthony Morrow.
Because, Anthony morrow has had more than 2 awesome games in his career.

Unfortunately we can't see the workouts but the same decision had to be made in 2004. I think we chose Dwight not because we loved him, it's just that we didn't love Okafor; so we went with the potential instead.
You would think that Exum would have to blow away the Magic front office for them to take him over Smart or Randle (and possibly Vonleh). There is too much to like about those prospects to just take Exum on a whim. That said, I fully expect that Exum performs well and that we draft him if the top 3 US prospects are gone.
