Management is going to have a problem when deciding what to do with Fultz and Cole.

I'd keep Cole Anthony without hesitation, if he only he agrees to a 6th man role on this team!

Fultz is so talented but defers to his teammates too much! He's also lethal in transition.

Very entertaining stuff though. I can stand to watch 82 games like this. Don't really have much to pick on. Suggs is the swing man. If he can consistently hit shots and not hurt himself playing the way he does the team can do somethings. The starting unit has good chemistry from what I've seen so far.

The bench is going to be interesting. I don't think Black sees real minutes tbh. He needs time. The game is too fast right now and he doesn't look like he knows what to do on ball which is an issue considering the shooting off ball. Jett's jumper is something else. I don't think he cracks the rotation because of defense but I really hope he does at some point. Ingles is going to get minutes and I think he will do his part consistently. I still think I like Goga more than Mo but we'll see what happens with that. WCJ is probably the most important guy on the team if you consider the backup situation.

If you have a Paolo and Franz in your lineup, then yeah you better defer to them unless the jersey in your back says Curry or Morant.

If Franz and Paolo are really taking the leap already I don't see how you let Fultz or Cole go. Switch gears and compete.

There will be minutes and rest days where I think we mainly run a 9 man rotation but people will be filtered in and out, and then naturally injuries too.

He needs to keep shooting so they’ll have a reason to send it back his way…hasn’t really been an option, other than “reset”. Fingers crossed he becomes a threat.

What? Fultz plays team basketball...what is wrong with that. He could take a ton of shots if he wanted to but he actually plays the right way.

I don't want to get myself hyped up but this game showed me just how unreal the defensive potential of this team is. Like if they put it together they could be really damn good on that end.

If Mosley really is planning to go with Cole/Harris/Ingles/Isaac/Moritz as his 2nd unit, he's putting an awful lot of faith and confidence in Cole to shoulder a HUGE scoring load with that group.

Maybe he can stagger one of Franz/Paolo in there with that group.

We have to remember that's the real problem. We've been excited about Suggs before. Consistency and health is the challenge.

Paolo and Wagner are both 12-14 minutes under their usual minutes, definitely some staggering going on. But he does like to finish with the starters. Last year Wagner played with the bench a bit, right?

People were annoyed that Mosley went with all bench units for a while but while other teams brought in some starters earlier, they would fade at the end of quarters when they take them out or are just exhausted. Seemed to have worked decently.

Yeah last year Franz was typically the first guy subbed out and then he'd come back with Cole, Suggs, a PF (Bol, Admiral, Chuma, Isaac for a little bit) and a center (Bamba, Moritz, Goga).

But they've gone with 10 in the first half of each of the first two preseason games.

If they play 9 then obviously one of their 5 starters is always on the floor.

If they play 10, most coaches do end up playing 5 reserves at the same time and if the Magic do go that route and don't stagger (they haven't really in the first two) it will be with basically one shot creator in Cole.

But there's plenty of time to figure all that out.

Suggs is so fun to watch defensively, he could be the Ed Reed of the NBA!

If I was coach Mosley, I would put JI in the starting lineup and move WCJ to bench because Isaac is so effective defensively and that would allow quicker fast break points!

Also Wendell can become more of a scoring threat off the bench!

Also, aside from JI, we really don't have any bigs that intimidate the slashers of blocks right?

I think Goga is underrated as a rim protector. But Wendell isn't very good at it and Moritz is particularly terrible at it.
