Did you hear about how ND fans threw snow at the fans? Crazy stuff

When the students throw snowballs at the players from their own school, well then, the mutiny must be getting close......

It was a great run for them. It's sad to see their quest having ended.

Great, so this week I need USF to lose or I'm going to be 0-3.

I don't know what to root for!!!

Oh wait...

LOL - see you guys later. BTW, UCF, thanks (sarcastic tone) for beating Memphis, it likely means that USF will be playing a mighty Sun Belt team (probably Troy) at the St. Pete Bowl. C-USA probably won't have enough bowl eligible teams, or will be USF vs. a 6-6 C-USA team, lol (the Orange beating ND basically guarantees USF in the St. Pete bowl because Sun/Gator bowls cannot take them unless ND beats USC, lol).

BTW- It's USF vs UCONN tonight at 8 pm.

As a season ticket holder for UCF, I can tell you that Sunday night games SUCK, despite the national exposure.

UCF announced 40K plus, but the student turnout that night against East Carolina was the lowest ever at the new stadium (they usually fill the student section with 12K, but I bet that night there were only 8K) .

It'll be interesting to see the actual turnout in the NFL town tonight.

Ah ha, my theory proved true.

I knew if I posted that USF would lose that they'd read the message board (right?) and come with intensity.

Attendance was pretty disappointing, but the atmosphere was there tonight. We held Brown in check, and I'm shocked at how many people are calling for Grothe's head.

The Gators are going to completely rape FSU.

I'm an FSU fan (and hate UF), but this year they're just overrated and UF is...not.

There's no question that UF is having a better year than FSU, but I don't think the Gators are looking past anybody. They know that FSU's mediocre year can be salvaged by destroying the Gators' championship hopes. And in Tallahassee, anything's possible.

^ Anything is possible, but an FSU win does not mean FSU > UF.

It means they had a fluke win.

If it goes as it should, UF will destroy FSU. Obviously there will be those lapses (as displayed early season by USC and UF among others).

This might be an ugly game for FSU, despite their better play of late.

They do not have enough firepower to stay with the Gators, nor is their defense going to be able to deal with the speed.

The only way FSU makes this a game is if the Gators self destruct.

Doubtful.

An FSU win would throw everything into chaos, especially if Florida then goes on to beat Alabama. You'd likely see an all Big-12 BCS championship game.

Can losing to Syracuse really be considered an "upset" in basketball?

It's not like UF is that highly ranked, it's early in the year, and Syracuse has good talent this year (like usual).

Upsets this time of year really has no meaning.

UF should be very very good......

SU wasn't ranked and FL is/was ranked 12th.

I wasn't disputing the fact that at this time, SU was an underdog to UF, but college basketball will "change it's clothes" many times before the parade in March.

Good win for SU, a blip on the screen for UF, and by tomorrow nobody will remember the game or outcome. IMO, it's just too early for claiming upsets.......Heck, in a month from now UF might be the dog to SU.

I'd like to pose a hypothetical.

Let's say that Auburn defies all odds and beats Alabama for the eighth straight year. This means that Alabama will obviously no longer be number one. Assuming Florida beats FSU, does a win over a 7th or 8th ranked Alabama in the SEC championship no longer guarantee that Florida will jump to 1 or 2 in the BCS, especially if Oklahoma and Texas both win, as well?

An SEC team is going to the nat'l championship unless UF and Alabama somehow get 2-losses.
