When Stern blocked that cp3 deal again I was loling. Then it hit me that it might give the lakers a bigger chance to get Dwight so I was pissed. Then now...I dunno..

does dwight still demand to go to LA if chris paul can't come? i dont think that team without gasol or odom or shannon brown is a championship team but who knows

Did they really think that garbage squared was going to acquire Paul?

Also if two 30 somethings and a late 20 something can get Paul, who is to say that a few of our 20 somethings and a few 1st rounder couldn't get him?

Appreciate it guys.. I was on twitter and read what he said and got str8 up depressed. So what's everybody's thought process right now?

For those of us that stayed here and drank we hit a momentary high when LA dropped the CP3 deal thinking we were getting him and Gasol and Bynum and getting rid of Dwight. Then people got greedy and wanted Dwight and CP3. So basically, we're back to where we were this time yesterday, except we've heard from Dwight personally he wants out.

Of course everything happens the night I have to go out. Can 't believe the season is going to start in 2 weeks and we have no idea wtf is going on with our team.

I'm just kidding :P It literally took me almost 2 hrs to read Part IV and V.

I'm standing firm with having faith in Otis. I'm not going to lie, it kind of pissed me off of how some of you have jumped down Otis' spine, especially in part IV and now are possibly seeing some light at the end of the tunnel as he may have duped a lot of you, including most media outlets. I've been on board with the Lakers deal if they include Bynum and Gasol while taking back Turk's contract for sometime and have been grilled for it because some of you can't see straight when the homer glasses come off.

IDunkOnYou & Darth Magic, i've agreed with every single one of your posts throughout this saga and I couldn't have said it better myself. Kudos

Now, some of you have already touched on it (think it was Chunny 1st) but this puts in a very nice position to upgrade at PG (CP3) if a Lakers deal goes through for Bynum and Gasol. We have a lot more leverage than we think we had and this is ONLY day 1 of Dwight's trade request being publicly known.

Nelson/JRich/Hedo/Baby/Howard is an interesting SL

Nelson and JRich are at their worst starting caliber players and have peaked at star level production throughout their careers. For Nelson that the was first half of '09 and then again in the playoffs of '10, while for JRich it was '05-'06 and then again in the '10 playoffs and the early part of '11 while with Phoenix. Not ideal #2's but they fit the model that Orlando has thrown on the court during the SVG era.

Hedo and Baby are low usage role players. Hedo brings shot creation and three point shooting while Baby brings Heart and Hustle. Neither needs to be shooting the ball to maximize their impact and should compliment what Nelson/JRich bring quite nicely.

Then off the bench we turn to offensive specialist Redick and stretch-forward Anderson for some great offense, while Orton is looking like a solid option for 12 mins behind Dwight. Who backs up Nelson remains to be seen.

I could feel excited about that team tbh, it has the balance of our '09 team. Favorites to win it all? LOLno. Contenders? I think so.

Good value. Good trade bait to bring back a youngin + 1st rd. It's not like he can carry this team anyways. Those who want this team to tank, still won't be that great with him here. But he would be a good piece to a team that could use an improved SG.

He was a no defense playing bum last year and makes no sense on a rebuilding team. IMO he is overpaid.

I'm trying to figure out, is the deal finalized and official? Or this is just some kind of verbal agreement between J-Rich and the Magic?

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate
