What we're definitely witnessing is a masterpiece game, and series, by Giannis. This guy really proved it. And MIL has that experienced pose to weather anything. I'm really excited that JI is the most similar on our team to the legendary Giannis!

he has needed to. but he has also lost the ball quite a few times. at 10-17, i would want him to shoot more than Booker at 8-20 or Ayton at 4-12.

and sorry, JI isnt anything close to Giannis.

Something is wrong if you're needing 40 year old CP3 to be your leading scorer. So I personally was expecting 15 APG CP3. Not 5 APG CP3.
And my thing about JI was in the phrase; "on our team"
I think Optimus had it nailed 100% right. CP3 and Jae were big additions, but some extra self-scoring punch was missing. I also felt like how much longer MIL has been together compared to other teams in the Playoffs was a serious advantage that was completely overlooked. And I was shocked by the confident PHX predictions all along, like from Coach Nick on BBALLBREAKDOWN in YT. He should probably stick more to game by game coaching commentary, and less predicting

ok, 36 not 40. Lebron at 36 just put up 25/8/8. But he had to because no one else seemed ready for the spotlight tonight. I agree they could have used some more scoring punch.

And Milwaukee wasnt some team that played together for years. it was Jrue's, Tucker and Portis first year with the team. 2 starters and a key 6th man.

I completley agree with your statement but at the same time Dwight also took is to the finals. European players seem more loyal too, shoot even Vuc cried when he was traded, our guys are entitled just look at all the super teams.

its also mindset. Dwight listened to his agent and told management he had to be more of the offense. But Giannis has much better handles and is more fluid with the ball and his moves than Dwight ever was. Dwight could only power it over you. Giannis can use either hand and if you stand your ground, he can spin in either direction and lay it up. I agree, Dwight could have been close to what Giannis has become but he got in his own way

There is very little loyalty in America. I’m not sure what parents are teaching kids these days.

Loyalty has to be both ways. Teams cut and trade players all the time.

Ji has more finesse to his game. Giannis is just a bull man. Man can drop 40-50 just bullying himself to the rim and free throws. JI would get his probably step backs, hesitations, pull ups etc.

Comparing JI to Giannis? Oh god... What's next? Cole to Iverson?

The Suns can look back and say they lost the series in game 4, up 9 to start the 4th quarter with a chance to take a 3-1 lead and they couldn't put that one away. Booker gets in foul trouble, and many mistakes. They didn't win again either...

Congratulations on finding one of the four other 36 year old players in the NBA to keep your point alive somehow. A guy who completely represents the typical NBA star too (/sarcasm)

I guess Giannis, Middleton, Lopez, Connaughton means nothing to you too. 3 starters and a more key 6th man.

and what had they done in the previous years? playoff flameouts.

combination of new blood and players with old team. Giannis and Middleton the long time players. Lopez and Conaughton there for 3 years, not a long time but not their first year either.

Oh my god, how dare I, right? I said he is the most similar to Giannis from our team, which is an incredibly small pool of players to stretch the imagination a little.

How dare I compare JI even a little tiny bit when the GMs’ who picked him literally picked Giannis in the draft too.

How dare I compare him to Giannis a tiny bit when I can go back into the forum and find the same comparison by you and the others in here from months and years ago too. And remember, JI was on fire in his last 20 games. So that Giannis comparison from everyone here is going to be only some months ago too.

Gain experience. The first time, deep playoffs team lost. And the other didn’t. It’s that simple. That was what I was pointing out in another way.

damn thats sad

Sad is...

"Six franchises — the Charlotte Hornets, Denver Nuggets, LA Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves and New Orleans Pelicans — have never reached The Finals."

All are west coast teams (except for Charlotte).

And what also makes us special is that we are the only team to beat a Michael Jordan-led team in the playoffs during the time between their first and last NBA championships..
And, we also beat a Lebron James-led team in the playoffs.
