Watched the replay...like I said in the last game going small against us (especially Paolo) is a terrible idea. We are way too aggressive for that to work.

Suggs may very well be an actual psychopath at this point. We've seen intensity before but this dude is foaming at the mouth. Glad he's on our side.

We don’t have to as much. Our perimeter defense is stout and we are defending the rim well.

I always complain about usless switching that is unnecessary. That is, to me, one of the most usless & worthless, and in most cases harmful approeaches on defense.
Offense does handoffs where PF gives ball to PG, and you switch despite fact handoffs happen 40 feet from rim, and you literally just need to move 1 damn step to avoid it. So why simply not move 1 step and avoid missmatch?

Today switch defense is nothing but gimmick for most of teams. I'm glad we figured out it's idiotic and simply unnecessary.

Now, ofc, there are teams that are too damn good on offense to give them break ( like, i dont' know, Warriors, Nuggets and teams who understand principles of motion offense) but switching against some Pistons or Blazers is dumb.

Our confidence is sky high and we play like 2021-22 Memphis Grizzlies, where you have bunch of young, talented players and their energy is in every game higher than energy of opponents, as they are exited to win for first time.

Even age vise, we are very similar to that Memphis team, who ended up winning 56 games. I don't think we are there (yet) but we should be in playoff picture.

it will be interesting to see how we stack against Celtics and Nuggets. last year we played well against Celtics, but they changed half of starting 5. And Nuggets are champions so you know everybody plays extra hard against them, but Nuggets are experts of punishing high pressing.

The defence is amazing, but the vision and ball movement (cough without Fultz cough), is a massive development.

I'm really liking Goga and Isaac's interior defense and effort around the rim! It's been amazing to watch!!

I'm thinking when Fultz and WCJ returns, it will probably push Joe Ingles out the rotation!

C- M.Wagner
PF- WCJ
SF- JI
SG- Harris
PF- Fultz

I don’t think you realize how important Ingles has been for the magic, he has been absolutely amazing.

No coincidence that the Magic's playmaking has improved dramatically since his arrival.

This was the most complete Magic game that I've seen in a while and they've unlocked something new. No complaints from me on this one. That was a game of beauty. Goga and Isaac together at C has to be the way forward. WCj can come off the bench behind Paolo. The typical touches be needs doesn't mesh as well with the starting unit. Suggs was a maniac tonight and Cole was a dawg. Franz's Euro moves are unstoppable when he's being aggressive and Paolo looked like a Lebron type enforcer.

This was better than the Pacers game as the Magic did not let up in the 3rd or 4th quarters.

The Magic won all four quarters this game. That is impressive.

Wouldn't the math mean they'd only have to BEAT them by half the pt. diff in a H2H match up since for every pt. you win by, it'd also be -1 in pt. diff for the losing team so a 7 pt win H2H is a 14 pt swing in pt. diff?

This guy maths. It's 17 vs. 6 right now so we'd have to beat them by 6.

But it's meaningless because Boston and the Nets still have games to play, so the numbers could be all different.

If Orlando beats the Celts, it is probably a three way tie at 3-1. Thus Orlando needs not only to win over Boston, but to make the tourney, the Magic must drub Boston. That does seem unlikely.

When we have cornerstone franchisr wings in the frontcourt, that is the stat you want your Center to have.

No need to score double digits. Defend and make life easier for your superstars.

Incidentally, watching on the screen, Poetl.must be huuuuge. He made Goga look small.

Suggs in person was completely psychotic this game, which was insanely fun to watch. Man if he can score like this night in and night out, he has a real chance to be one of the most likable Magic players of all time.

Great game, Magic fans!

Really glad that you had a great time! I hope the Magic play this well whenever I make it to the Amway center :D

It'll be a sad day if and when he's no longer a (big) part of the team. His timing, his delivery, his tone, it's just... perfection.

Gotta really take a hard look at his true upside…he’s still very young & was a recent high pick. I like WCJ a lot and maybe platooning these guys is a powerful plan as WCJ can also backup PF. As long as Isaac is a fragile situation, that’s a strong, versatile big rotation. If Goga continues to impress and Isaac stays healthy, we could shop WCJ towards the backcourt offensive upgrade we need.

I’m ready to rush the PG situation, but I consider the C situation something to give more consideration…both such bargains.

I like Mo too, but he’s a candidate for best situational 10th or 11th man, imo.

I hadn’t considered WCJ a full-time 4…I really like that!

WCJ himself, earlier in his career, stated that he was a 4
