Seriously? Now that's something I want an explanation for.
I don't like blaming games on refs, and tonight just like last night both sides had some horrible calls. I remember that offensive foul on Yao when the guy was just standing still, it was ridiculous. But the fact is that in two consecutive games we lost two games out of bad calls on the last second. We didn't deserve to win any of these last two games but the fact is that we could have won both or at least go for OT if it wasn't for bad officiating.
We do have reasons to be complaining, no matter if the rest of the league thinks we're just bad losers. We are being robbed, period.

That call was correct. Dwight was coming to block the lay-up and Yao who had his back to him stuck his a** out to prevent that, can't do that good offensive call. Had he stayed straight up, Dwight probably runs into him and it's a lay-up plus a Yao free throw.

guys I totally agreed that this was yet another bad call by the refs but when they showed the replay from a different angle on ESPN during the heat-mavs halftime show, the ball was still touching Foyle's fingertips with 0:00 on the clock after that even Stephen A Smith who was calling it a horrible miss by the refs changed his mind
From that angle I can't disagree with the refs call as much as I would like too

I agree to that extent, no one in the front didn't do anything but yell their a**es off.
Tiger (who was there until at least the start of the 4th quarter) should've pulled out his 9-iron and shoved it straight up Corbin's a**.
If I had a drink, that'd go right over those striped pricks heads. :banghead:

That's a good proposal, but I think the .3 sec rule only applies to actually taking a jumpshot. As far as I know, you can tip the ball with .3 left, but you just can't catch and shoot.

Didn't David Lee tip the ball in vs Charlotte with .1 left?

Yes. The .3 rule plays NO PART in a tip scenario.

Sorry, floater...what you meant was what the picture shows. OFF THE FINGERTIPS. The Magic would have to have lost the game for there to be a case of "sore losers" here. The gray shirted pieces of garbage WON the game for the Rockets. Anyway you slice it, that's a fact.

Hey troll

I hope you have a vision care plan.

Your own evidence proves your wrong.

....so, STFU

Oh and if you look closely, you can see an off white strip of pixels in between the hand(of adonal foyle I might add) and ball.

The strip of pixels is the top right hand support bracket for the back board.

The sad part (before I sign off), is that I'm sure these cowardly worms had good eyesight. Likely they went to Donahy's(sp) school of corrupt officiating. Violet Palmer couldn't have topped this fiasco.

For everyone saying ESPN is backing us.. so wrong. On SC they said "it appears they probably got it right, but it could have gone either way". So ya, they abandoned ship on that one.

it's not like the refs had HD cameras on there, the game wasn't shown in HD(at least not in Houston), did you see the little screen the refs had to work with? THREE refs said it was no-good.

Will ANYBODY ever know who was right?

I can say that it was no-good, you can say it was, IT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING.

Just take the loss.

the problem i have is there wasn't enough effidence to prove it wasn't good. and they never even made a call on the floor. and the refs won't even comment on it. if they said it was good no one would have complained. rocket fans wouldn't have even thought about arguing the call. overall it would have made a boring game, between the two best centers, into maybe something a little more exciting by going into OT. oh well a game that could have easly been decided in OT by the player was instead decided by a refs judgement call and controversy.

Having watched the play, and considering the fact that no call was made on the court and that the call directly effected the outcome, one can only ask, what the line was on the game? "NBA...where rigging games happens"

So, if this happened to the Rockets, you'd just say "aw shucks" and forget about it, with no signs of disappointment.....

**** off.

The bad part is there was no call made to reverse or confirm. That's not legal.

The Magic are also allowed to send a pool reporter to the ref's locker room for an explanation, and they denied it. That's also illegal.

The Magic also couldn't get a hold of the league offices.

Yeah, anybody defending this just makes themselves look stupid.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

IT'S NOT LEGAL AND IT'S A LOAD OF **** THAT THERE WASN'T A CALL ON THE FLOOR, YOU CAN'T USE THE REPLAY TO COPPING OUT OF MAKING A CALL ON THE FLOOR!!
