Everyone and everything else is fair game in all scenarios.

right now, AB is still....Just Another Guy

I agree with MagicFan. Those are the building blocks. Now lets surround those 4 with competent shooters. PLEASE!!!

Do i want guy who almost choked his GF to death?

Might as well add Miles Bridges to have all the woman beaters.

For how but**hurt nba gets over some political stands, it is borderline crazy that they allow such players to still play in nba.

But poor girl said she "fell" to save his a**. She "fell", on his fist and between his hands around neck, you know, typical abusive "falls".

Absolutely and fully understand the sentiment.

Someone was trying to say Christian Braun was going to be better than AB. Braun played his first game when he was 21 years and 7 months old. He averaged 4.7 ppg his rookie season. AB is currently 21 years and 4 months old. So next season, he'll be playing at the same age Braun was as a rookie.

Braun has been amazing this season. He is 3 years older than Black. Hopefully, Black can have a big jump like Braun did in 3 years from now.

If Orlando wants to get under the cap, they may have to part ways with one of their building blocks...I wouldn't rule out a draft day trade to acquire younger talent to either flip in a possible Giannis trade or keep for foreseeable future.

I like Marcus Smart and their lottery pick for Franz Wagner/Cole Anthony.

You should be banned from writing anything basketball related for life after this post, my dude.

Just because you don't agree with my high basketball IQ

Seriously, Franz is about to make almost max money in Orlando next season and while he is a solid player he doesn't solve a lot of our team issues. His type of money is for top tier NBA players, not Hedo Turkoglu/Chandler Parsons type players.

I like Franz intangibles as a player but his true upside is a Robin instead of a Batman.

For some odd reason I feel like we’re going to trade for Keldon Johnson.

No rumors just gut feeling.

There were rumors the Spurs were talking to us about one of our big guys at the deadline.

Braun needed KCP out of his way too.

Do any of you know the people who setup the playoff flags downtown?

2025-2026 Projections
Luxury Tax: $187.9 million
First Apron: $195.9 million
Second Apron $207.8 million

The Magic currently have approximately $199.3M on the books for next season. Well over the luxury tax and into the first apron.

If they decline their team options on Moritz Wagner, Gary Harris and Cory Joseph, that will drop down to $177.36M.

The only thing I am confident in for next year is that the Magic will NOT willingly go into the first apron and obviously not the second apron.

They will probably try and stay under the tax completely if we're being honest with ourselves.

That gives them about $10M to play with in terms of adding salary. Right now they have two first round picks incoming at 16 and 25, which would eat up most of that $10M if they make those picks.

There's not a lot of wiggle room here if they want to stay under the tax.

And we know Mo is not going anywhere. Weltman has painted himself into a tough corner to improve this team.

I agree that Moritz will be back, but I'm almost positive his option will be declined and he'll be resigned later in the process once they've made whatever trades they're going to make.

I would be shocked if he sticks around for his existing 1 year, $11M given his injury status.

Weltman already stated improvement will come via trades.

The former.

He's not getting more than $11M AAV just six months off a blown ACL.

Yes, but resigning your own guys is different IMO. Especially if they come in for less money than they're currently on the books for.

So he re-signs Moe and lets go of Cory and Gary….

To stay under the 1st apron he won’t be making major trades unless more expensive assets are attached outgoing.

Magic have a number of picks (4) and I don’t believe they make, and sign, ALL of them.

It’s just a much more difficult offseason to improve the roster because of 4 years of lack of improving the roster on the fringes in smaller deals.

Not that he’d be available for anything I’d likely want to give up, but Podziemski would be a great guard for this team. Does everything we need without compromising on what makes us good.

Was the Magic looking at expiring contracts before trade deadline with an intend to get below the tax by ownership?
