it is so classless to post in an obnoxious manner on the game thread of the opposing team.

"Aaron Gordon will cost Henny's job by Dec 2016." Predicted Dec 2014.

"O'Quinn will have a longer and more successful NBA career than Nicholson." Predicted Jun 2012. Verified on Dec 2014.

It is a tough pill to swallow as a fan, we know, we went through a 12-win season. But its a much better place long-term than trying to be a team like, say the Hawks or the Knicks for years who were just good enough to win games not to win the lottery but also bad enough that they can't get past the 2nd round.

Didn't care to read the beginning of your original post, so I just focused on this segment cause it was hilarious to me.

So much irony in this paragraph. You talk about not being stuck in mediocrity and yet that is exactly what the Brooklyn Nets are...

Your team's ceiling is the 2nd round.

No doubt. But it was a necessary evil. We can't open the arena and be a losing team, so the team had to spend the money, even if it means giving up our long-term flexibility. It's the disadvantage of big market teams. Harder for them to tank. But the way King set it up, this team is built for the next 4 years salary wise. As long as he doesn't compound it (like the Hawks and the KNicks did) by sending out contracts for even more horrible contracts coming back, I'm ok with 3-4 years of 2nd round exits (with a verrrrry slight chance of getting the COnf. Finals), as long as its rebuilt again once this core is done.

IT's been faar too long since the Nets have won. Just have to get the winning feeling back. We'll settle for some excitement back in our lives with the move to Brooklyn for now.

It is even worse to do that by someone losing by nearly 40 points. There was one other Magic fan who came to our thread positively, and nothing's been flung his way yet.

You come to ours in peace, we'll welcome you in peace.

You come to ours talking big (especially when your team is getting destroyed), and expect for that not to end well.
