I don't care how great he did in the workout or at the Combine, I'm gonna be incredibly disappointed if we draft Zeller with our current pick :-?

With all the other great prospects in the draft, taking him Top-5 is a big mistake. If we get another pick around 10-15, I get the idea of drafting Zeller. But not higher

At the combine, Cody Zeller outran even Victor Oladipo and Ben McLemore in the 3/4 court sprint.

If thats the case then those guys should be ashamed. You are quick 6'3-4 guys and you get beat by a center, man.

This shows that Rob is doing his due diligence and is looking at multiple draft day scenarios. Rob seems to me like a guy who has a back up plan for the back up plan.

Almost more agile than Oladipo too. 35" vert.

Zeller- Lane agility- 10.82 & 3/4 Sprint- 3.15
Oladipo- Lane agility- 10.69 & 3/4 Sprint- 3.25
McLemore- Lane agility- 11.87 & 3/4 Sprint- 3.27

We're praising a guy just for doing his job now?

Yay now everyone is posting the combine numbers like they depict actual game play.

I'm going to **** 7 bricks if we take Zeller.....

We have BBD and Nicholson.......I highly doubt zeller ends up better than BBD. You don't replace a guy like BBD unless you go after someone with an extremely high ceiling.

And please don't any of you guys try comparing Zellers defense to Noels as if he is even remotely on the same level...........

Oh and this too...

We finally have a legit GM after all those years of incompetence, lazyness, and stubbornness from the front office so yes I am going to praise the guy.

The Zeller talk is just to spark trade interest I think. If we take him it better be for someone else...

Don't overreact. We're not taking Zeller at 2. Zeller at 9-12 is perfectly acceptable.

Zeller isn't a bad player. He is really fluid on offense and defense. I don't think he is a perfect fit with Vucevic and we would be really soft defensively inside, but if Noel is gone he is most likely going to be the next best PF available. Noel likely goes 1st, so cant not look at alternatives.

His wingspan is BARELY bigger than Oladipos.....

He is just the last person I'd personally want us to take in the top 15.

I cant believe how much people overrate BBD on this site

The guy sucks and needs to be replaced. the ONLY reason not to replace him is if we are trying to tank next year

Not saying im big on Zeller, but if our first pick is Noel/Zeller/len and we go with a twin tower type lineup, then it will be an upgrade over last years lineup before BBD got hurt

This just means he won't be a huge shot blocker not that he won't be a good player.

Not sure if posted so excuse if late.

His jumper is wet but he just looks in slow motion to me. Not saying he's disinterested but it does look like he's just going through the motions. 2 MORE DAYS!

What are we betting? How do we determine who is "better"?

Sorry, got busy at work. Anyways, I can create a shirt to wear. It will say "Glenn "Big Baby" Davis Proved me all Wrong!!!" if I win and someone can come up with a Noel slogan if I lose!!!

Then, you have to wear said shirt to a Magic game or if you don't live in Orlando, you have to wear to a major Sporting event.

Or, we can just do a Signature Bet where you have to use a Sig I design saying "Glenn "Big Baby" Davis Proved me all Wrong!!!" compliments of BadMofopimp in small lettering!

Yeah i remember last year Miles Plumlee went from late 2nd rounder to first because he posted insane numbers athletically and from an exposion standpoint but anyone who watched him knows it never translated to the actual court
