Don't ask me where I heard it or who I heard it from, but according to a "friend" of the family we are trying to move out Markelle, Okeke, Gary and 2nd rounders. We are trying to aquire Tyus and a shooter.

This "friend" is connected. For what it's worth, my aunt did all the land engineering for Kia Center when it was built, and this "friend" was involved in the deal from a Devos standpoint. Not to mention I've known "him" for over a decade and has mentioned things before that turned out to be true.

"He" wasn't insinuating that Markelle Okeke and Gary was the offer for Tyus, he said these were the players that we are shopping.

Wendell is not on the table according to "friend"

Take that info for what's its worth. We spoke today

That would make a lot of sense. Markelle and Denver pick for Tyus. Okeke, Harris second round picks for Hield. Adds shooting but no long term commitment. Players brought aren’t likely to screw up chemistry. Give Markelle a trip to his hometown..

I think this is pretty reasonable.

Probably have to kick in the Denver pick to Indiana and multiple seconds to Washington.

New lineup...

STARTERS: Jones, Suggs, Franz, Banchero, Carter
2ND TEAM: Cole, Hield, Ingles, Isaac, Moritz
3RD TEAM: Black, Howard, Houstan, Goga

With one open roster spot.

I remember him. Didn't he die, and one of his relatives posted a message? I think he was on Delphi forums, tho. I remember the board owner was Zopop, and they called the board the Ozone. Some of the posters that I remember from there were Resin and Ben.

I wonder if Ben is the same Ben that used to post there? This was back around 2007. ESPN used to have a board, but it got wild without mods.

That's not bad. It makes us better and more complete this year, but considering both Hield and Jones could walk after this year makes me wonder if there is a better deal out there. I would prefer Brogdon because he could still be a starter next year or easily be a combo guard off the bench with Cole if AB is ready to start. I am interested to see what the price is going to be for Murray. If our management thinks a lineup of Murray/Suggs/Franz/Paolo/WCJ could potentially contend, then you try to make that move if at all possible.

Even though I knew he was full of crap, I still checked that forum for MagicConfid posts around the trade deadline.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Kelle to DC makes sooooo much sense for this FO because we would still be showing him love by sending him home. I really hope that’s the case.

His pacing and strength might be workable next to Poole's wild explosiveness...I'd wish them luck other than 4 nights a year

Wonder if our good start is changing the FO patience with the team? It is very obvious the fanbase wants to compete now. I think it has been so long for us that it is only natural. This FO aint losing their job anytime soon so they can be patient. In their defense we have not see the team healthy for an extended period of time. I do think they are smart enough to see the issues that us as fans see.

I am sure they have having conversations every day. People who act like they are sitting idle and not exploring opps are delusional. They just may think standing pat is better for the future.

Obviously they're having conversations. The real question is do they have the guts to take a swing or not? Maybe they truly feel standing pat is the best path forward but that's hard to imagine with all of the expirings we have and the apparent sellers that are looking to unload contracts. I hope we make a move for the right players. I'm dubious of Murray but his talent is what we need. Players like Tyus, Brogdon, Kispert seem like guys Weltman would want to bring in. I just don't want to see us trading Paolo, Franz, Suggs, or AB. I really don't want to move Jett either but would make him available for the right player.
