Re: 2025-2026: Around the League
I understand the mental cutting off of Dame. Too long of a wait. Question marks on his return. It makes sense in some ways. Myles Turner is a great pickup, wow! Upgrade on Brook for sure. Now MIL is one trade of Kuzmass and Picks to someone that has real basketball skill. Kuzmass can go back to LA and trashing small market teams. MIL knows how to play with Giannis 1a and no one else quite 1b. Team effort.

Milwaukee is going to have the same problem we had without enough playmakers.

They still have no talent to do anything but to win 35-45 games and lose in first round.
They have some of worst PG-SG-SFs rotations in nba. Like, Nets level bad.
And they traded out all picks until 2031

Otherwise they trade everyone and go through a full rebuild which will take time, probably over 5 years anyways, so why not. I've never liked doing that stretch, but I can see it from that point of view.DiplomaticMagic wrote:Im more thinking about how the Bucks are done with that dead cap on their roster for 5 years. Yea when it doesnt work out they trade Giannis, Turner & Portis for draft picks and bottom out with cheap players & rookies, so they need some bigger contracts later to hit the salary floor.

On General Board i had sick burn about G. Harris but pulled punch.
Was ready to ask them is Gary Harris their 4th best player now.
Or should i tell them how he will fit well with their medical stuff?

I'll be a small advocate for DS and say he always seemed like one of those players who played bigger than the stats said, something that we similarly have to say for Franz and Paolo sometimes. DS plays up to the pressure, not down. He's not afraid of anything. Look, if you counter-argue me though, I have zero desire to defend the stance, lol

I’m not convinced Detroit is better than they were.
Lost Beasley, Hardaway, Schroder and Fontanecchio
Gained LeVert and Robinson
Doesn’t seem like a massive net gain or anything. Although they will also be getting Ivey back.

Re: 2025-2026: Around the League
I'm starting to drink the HOU hype cool-aid, but for me the top 2 in the West is OKC and DEN. And I will put HOU and MIN in the next tier below for now.
DEN has just added BRK's Cam Johnson in place of Michael Porter, return of Bruce Brown the SG who won title with DEN, Jonas Valanciunas, and Tim Hardaway Jr....
And the top 1 in the East is ORL, and every other team is a tier or two below

Oh def... i think their front court is weak as well. They arent built to stop big offensive bigmen.
They also seem to suffer from lack of 3pt shooting as well right?

Feels like they upgraded Beasley but not a huge upgrade. Beasley is really not good at decision making…

Re: 2025-2026: Around the League
I’m really not understanding why the National Sports Media is still buying the Knicks as the clear favorite for the East.
Orlando, Atlanta, and Detroit are coming.
… Cavs are still around as well. People got down on them when they lost to Pacers “surprisingly” and then we realized the Pacers weren’t so bad.
