Unbelievable. Howard gets 4 total touches in the 2nd half and then Stan leaves the starters on the floor for the entire 4th. What in the hell is going on? We got the win, but against an average to good team, the Magic would have lost tonight.

The Goose sucks, Matty FTW.

This should not be questioned, Matty is miles ahead of Jack.

Stan doesn't see him ready to play this season and he'll stay in a suit the rest of the season unless injuries occur.

I too was wondering where James was tonight.

i think coach stm might have taken this game a little too personal with riley (or any games against the heat for that matter). he paid attention to match ups even when the game didn't matter any more and as many of us here recognized that we should have rested our key guys. certainly not running up the score or anything like that (i hate the pats, btw), but i thought he has extra motivation whenever we play them.

Turnovers - Orlando = 16 Miami = 5...THE HELL?

we suck...i cant believe how badly we played this game...our guards were worse tonight than any other game I have seen this year...we better make change this off season...Dwight has been sliding off so hard over the past 2 weeks...it's amazing how faint those MVP chants are now...Hedo is stealing the spotlight...and man I was so upset that Cook didnt get time, I was yelling at Stan PUT COOK IN NOW...I also gave him the JJ chant...JJ gave me the whats up nod...

He's playing alright. He's not even an allstar, while Dwight is a superstar. Dwight is basically our defense and rebounding. It's not even close offensively. Dwight and Rashard both have much higher +/-s than him. Without Hedo, we'd still be pretty good. Without Dwight, this team would be as bad as the Wolves. It's not close.

Nonsense. Do you have personal problems with Hedo? How can the guys like you still critisize Hedo when he is playing great? Should be sth personal. Unbelievable.

It's pretty funny how we play poorly against poor teams, and good against the elite teams. It shows our inconsistency. It's like some games we dont even want to win because we are playing so poor.

Tonight we played mediocre, but if we played like this against an average team, it would be an easy loss. Then again if we played a better team, we would have played better ourselves.

You never know which Magic team you are going to get.

I believe he was saying that in regards to BAF claiming that Hedo has been more important to this team than Dwight.

At first, I thought BAF was joking, but then I after a few more posts by him I realized he was serious.

I think Hedo has been great for us and much better than I expected coming into this season, but to say he's been better and more important than Dwight is, well, overrating him.

Yeah, good point.

I've been wanting to see me some Gortat, and was very thrilled at his signing in the offseason but he hasn't been able to crack the rotation for some reason. I'd like to first see a little of his play before I classify him in the same class as Declerq. ;)

Maybe we could use him to 'replace' Battie, or backup Foyle at times.

Garrity was dressed and Gortat was IL so that's why he didnt play...even with Augustine missing...I was disappointed by not putting Cook and MAYBE JJ in on Quinn at the end...stupid IMO...he was obviously making a statement to the starters...

I'm still not real concerned.. its obvious we didn't have the mentality to blow them out tonight, but its still not as easy as it looks.. if we didn't win the Celtics, Pistons, Blazers etc games I wouldn't be happy.. but this doesnt bother me much.

I can't beleive anyone would suggest we bring Goose "I like inappropriate relations with little kids" Givens back to the broadcast booth when we have Matt Goukas, one of the best around.

Yeah, it was the same guy who wishes serious, career ending injuries for one of our players.

Haha, I was just about to post saying how we were discussing apples and oranges here. To be technical, proving which player is mroe valuable to this team is impossible anyways. We should just be fortunate that we have a double-double machine and a defensive presence downlown, with Turk becoming that all-around threat we've been waiting for, taking over games in the 4th.

And I never was trying to make people believe I was right; I just knew I was in the minority in my opinion and wanted to give people my thoughts on the matter.

I may be over-rating Hedo, but he's earned it with his play this year. He's our main offensive weapon.

I love you all. :D

Jack Givens was a phenomenal commentator. Even if he's not a tremendous human being (and iirc, he wasn't convicted of anything), the guy was a great analyst. There was a Goose-for-Coach bandwagon for a while when Doc was on his way out, even.
