I really really want to believe this, but Phillip isn’t the best source for this kind of stuff. He’s literally just like me and you but with a podcast lol. He often just regurgitates what he reads on X. I just never heard of this no where, no one of actual credibility has mentioned this and seems illegal but I don’t want to pretend like I know everything so hope you’re right because if true I agree is a huge trade piece especially for a team like Boston looking to shed salary immediately.
He's always around the Magic personnel. I'd call him an insider.

Isaac, KCP, #25, and the pick swap back for Booker. Why? The Suns would save over $100m in taxes this season and even more next season.

Then draft Rasheer with the #16.

Booker worth way more than that. Suns would be absolutely crazy to accept taking on two bad contracts and two low 1sts. They counter with Beal for that and think it a much fairer deal.

Let me know if you need my help to kidnap the Suns GM and get this trade through. Honestly, I'll join you.

It would instantly save him well over $100m for this current season 2025. Then, next season, around $200m in taxes in 2026.

Maybe we can avoid giving up any of Suggs, Franz, Paolo if we clear any other bad contract they have, and add like five 1st's. I want it, man.

They’re going to want youth and pick 16 (as well as other picks) my man. Idea is good but no way they just take that deal which would be a full rebuild just to save money.

Suns will never do that...

Isaac, Black, Harris (TO), Jett, CoJo (TO), #16, 27 FRP, 29 FRP for Booker make more sense.

Then Cole, TDS, Houstan, #25 for Cam Johnson

C: WCJ / Goga / #55
PF: Paolo / MoW / #46
SF: Franz / Cam J / Queen
SG: Booker / KCP
PG: Suggs / MLE signing a veteran

Why Rasheer?

We need someone to play those 10 mpg behind Paolo and TDS?

Isaac and #25 for Simons. Why. Portland would save around $13m next season so that they could go out and sign whichever mle type player they wanted.

They could draft Clayton with the #25, and we could draft Rasheer with the #16.

He can play the 4 or 5. He's mobile and fast.

Limited minutes available unless you think Weltman is making a ton of moves involving the 3 Centers and Isaac.

Do you even watch tape on Rasheer or open the links I posted?

Both Isaac and Goga could get traded because they are trade chips. Isaac's $25m goes down to $15m, and Goga's $9m down to $8m. We could trade Isaac's $25m for Simons $26m on draft night, and Portland would save like $13m next season.

Rasheer and Jameer are both from St. Joes. Philadelphia just signed Jameer to work for the team. I think they're eyeing Rasheer. They'll likely trade back from #3.

A sneaky acquisition might be our gift of an unanswered Prayer, Paul George. Philly fans want him gone. Does Morey agree?

3 for 1 consolidation KCP, Cole and their choice of big.

In my book KCP > PG at the contract and the risk. WCJ has positive value at $10M next season. We should be getting something additional. S&T Quentin Grimes?

What the homer in me is saying is add both of our first rounders this year for Jared McCain, and involve a third team with a defensive minded wing headed to Philly.

The guy who watched too many games without Paolo-Franz-Suggs-Mo this year say, you are crazy why take the risk on a 35yo due $162M the next three years and lose the flexibility if George is still hurt or done.

don't hate the idea of figuring out a way to just get Grimes either.

You realize how Boston got White. They traded for a good defensive guard, below average 3 point shooter who had dealt with some injuries. Derrick White for Josh Richardson, Romeo Langford, and the 25th pick. Guess what. The Celtics projected his growth, and he was way older than Suggs

You pay for similar guys that have already reached their potential and they are called Fred Van Vleet. $43M

Why do I care about his origin story.?..he's better than Suggs today and possibly tomorrow.

He'd be a dream acquisition, especially if we kept Suggs...which, btw, would be most likely because the ONLY reason White might be on the table is because BOS neeeds to cut $$$...Suggs makes significantly more than White next year...so, it's far from an obvious flip.

I guess you should care about origin stories, because career trajectories are not horizontal lines, and they don't generally peak at 22, without horrible injuries.

If you are going to suggest trading Suggs and two firsts, aim higher...WAY higher. And I really like Derrick White. I'd love to have him in Orlando.

Part left out of that origin story, SAS had this other guy Murray they decided they were going to roll with over White. Weren't going to pay both.

Booker doesn't fit long term. I was just using it as an example of what we could get.

I think Booker is great. Much cheaper without giving up too much. We will see

We should stop dreaming about Superstars coming to Orlando. It will never happen. We need to build around what we have already. Need to be realistic about what really would happen in the NBA landscape.

The Doncic trade would never have happened if they were not going to get the #1 anyways. Bad example and the Magic are not in LA.
