Anyone else thinking what Kaner and I are thinking?... is Anthony Randolph a realistic option to get for Duhon?

In my eyes Jameer Nelson is dead man walking. He going to be traded at some point. I don't see SVG playing both Jameer and Arenas in close games in the 4th quarter. I don't see Arenas running around screens to defend Ray Allen. I don't see him locking up Kobe Bryant or Dwade. I also think Hedo is going to instantly be SVG favorite again for PNR play late in games. This team is carrying 4 pgs and suddenly has not much depth with the bigs. Dwight gets in foul trouble as much as any center in the league. I just keep seeing them trading Jameer for a PF/C at some point. Jason Thompson, Samuel Dalembert and Chris Kaman are the guys that make the most sense.

So you think Nelson will be traded? ... I know Duhon has to be traded next, he's such a black sheep on this team

Who could we get? Someone to help the frontcout behind Bass and Howard would be nice

Honestly, I hope we keep Nelson, either off the bench or starting... but if a good deal is out there, I would trade him as well

He had his moments, and I stayed patient until the playoffs..... I've never seen a guy completely crumble when it was do or die in the postseason.

We should be negotiating right now to get J-Rich re-signed. If he walks next year, this trade looks even worse.

The Knicks don't want any part of Duhon. They definitely not trading Randolph for him. Ryan Anderson for Randolph maybe.

How are we screwed? We get 2 go-to scorers, a point-forward back in Hedo, and our backcourt is ridiculously awesome

Sure we could have gotten a bit more with Gortat, but honestly, something had to be done... Hedo's contract isn't the best thing ever, but the chemistry should be enough to get him to play his role again on this team... maybe not as well as he did 2 years ago, but having a point-forward on this team is huge

And Gil and Richardson gives us that perimeter go-to ability we so lacked the past 2 years

I'm sorry, but people were coming up with reasons why Carter was such a good addition. And look how that worked out.

Arenas is an inefficient player. He shoots a lot at a really low %, he turns it over like a madman and he plays no defense. Lets not get into the change of location theory. It might work for a few weeks but he'll become the player he always has been eventually.

Richardson won't come close to 19ppg. But overall he is a decent addition because he doesn't truly need the ball to be effective.

Hedo is just bad right now. Really lazy.

I can agree with that....i'll always remember that 48 point game he had cause i was there....entertaining night that was but man what a crazy turn of events but it's nice to be kinda excited about this team again

Sure nothing is perfect with the deal and the players involved, but what's done is done... and we gotta root for them and hope they play well for us

And honestly, something had to be done... could there have been a better deal involved? Yes... but this is what we're stuck with and we have to make the best of it... and honestly, we weren't going anywhere with Carter and Lewis anyways, so it's time reload and to go for broke with Arenas, Turk, and J-Rich

I`m not questioning the Arenas deal it is a good move by Otis but the Phoenix deal just dumb if we wanted Hedo we could get him for peanuts but Otis just panicked and decided to make all trades in one day.

We get it. You don't like the trades. However, to say that multiple teams would have given us something better for Gortat is completely baseless and pure opinion. Also, have you seen next year's draft class outside of the lottery? It's a complete joke. The draft pick is nothing. Earl Clark is a better prospect than anyone we could have drafted with our late 1st round pick.

We can still sign a backup center. Time to relax.
